I've been sitting back watching all the info over the proposed weapons bans over the last few weeks. Won't even go there. No desire or need to. Don't intend to either. So please keep with my theme. But I ran across this listing this morning on eBay and it cracked me up. It's nice to see someone still is keepinng a sense of humor during all this. Found it a little late to post the link but made a couple .pdf files of it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tactical-Assault-Rock-from-CroMagnum-Arms-International-CAI-/261153926569?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&nma=true&si=8aRuiXd0wPHlQiprQbVkPlE1YQk%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc The questions posted at the bottom of the listing were the best. Some people can still laugh about all this. The seller even has a Assault Spork listed. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261153740945?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Mike

i have a noise coming from the back end maybe from the final drive sounds like im dragging something metal on the ground at first i thought it was my mud flap dragging from riding 2 up but that is to high off the ground it does not make the noise when leaning right for right curbs only does this when leaning left or hitting bumps in the road on the center stand in neutral spinning the wheel there is one spot i feel where the wheel rubs something on my 84 any ideas what it could be before i start tearing things apart to repair i would like to make sure i have all the parts i need so i can do this in one day early morning tear apart late morning early after noon fix late after noon put together and ride im using my 84 as a daily rider until the 99 RSTD is running.

In case anyone is planning a trip thru the Smokies they are repaving a portion of US 441 at Newfound Gap on the TN side. Could be a pain trying to go to Gatlinburg from Cherokee, NC. One lane traffic. Wasn't too bad as we came thru late afternoon on a Sun., might get pretty ugly during busier times. Also a lot of road torn up. http://www.nps.gov/grsm/parknews/nfg-repave-09.htm

Let me state up front that I am not a practicing Christian, nor do I believe in the power of prayer. However, I have a friend who is a very devout Christian, and I know he would appreciate your putting in a good work for him with the powers that be. He was returning home late a few nights ago and was involved in a single vehicle accident. He damaged a couple of disks and will be laid up for a few weeks. Maybe longer. SO, if you are so inclined..... Thanks much

Little more than 2 weeks before the largest bike show in North America. Who's going and when? I'll be there on the Saturday late afternoon or early evening. Have to work that day so might end up going on Sunday but will confirm closer to the event. http://www.supershowevents.com/super/index.html

Found an old '49 Chevy pickup just wondering around on eBay and couldn't help but fall in love with it. Picked it up yesterday in Augusta Ga. and I am now visiting some friends in Raleigh NC. Heading out this morning for home. The truck was restored in the late '90s and still looks and drives real nice. It's old school with the old Chevy "Stovebolt Six" but has a late model 5 speed with an S-10 rear end and disk brakes. No power steering, no power brakes, no a/c and the radio don't work. So far I'm love'n it.

I rode a 2007 RSV for aobut three years and was used to letting the engine rev up when shifitng, and that included down shifting a bit early, to keep the revs up when power might be neeeded. now that I have a GL1800 I find that I shift late in the RPMs and downshift before entereing a corner and downshift early when comming to a stop......... I wonder if I need to chage my ways.............. what do you think?

I posted about this new dealer back in Dec. 08. I liked the place and its people. I drove by today and saw a Going our of Business sign up. I have a $50 gift card so I need to go by there before it's too late. This dealership was only 2-3 miles from my home which was nice. Colgan Powersports. Manassas Va.

Bob Dylon, who back in the 60's wanted nothing to do with Vietnam, just performed a concert over there. Better late than never I guess..... Or maybe he is just trying to figure out where all the flowers have gone.

My daughter loves watching Ruf RUfman. Well on today's show the fetchers (contestants) had to go to Hartford (I think it was) and while they were there they got a ride from a guy driving a mid to late 80's Venture with a side-car. It was blue if that helps. Was it anyone here? Shaun

Awesome weather here in SC today, mid 60's and sunny! Rode a good 250 miles, lunch and a peach enchilada thrown in the middle. Nice way to thaw out in late January. Glad to not have to work Saturdays anymore. I hope others in the area were able to get out and enjoy the beautiful day. Dave

So there I as, driving to work on a beautiful SoCal afternoon. I came up on a 90 degree left handed sweeper, no traffic, clear road, about 25mph. I eased into the turn, acheiving full lean with throttle roll-on, when to my surprise, my back end completely washed out. I found my self on the pavement watching my '09 RSV continue in a straight line, on it's left side. When it hit the edge of the roadway, it high-sided and smashed down hard on the right side. Tow truck to the dealer, call to insurance and several beers late, here I am. By the grace of God I am uninjured, but the bike may be a total. New fairings, bags and rub rails, new windshield, new engine guards, new floorboards, that's just the start of what I see needed. And I am NO mechanic. .
