I bought this bike a couple of months ago. needless to say the po neglected it.I am going thru and repairing replacing things. I need help on the trunk lock. on the inside of the trunk the part that the lock latches onto is gone. does anyone have a fix for this, or maybe a pic of it so I can possibly make something. thank you

Got my Harbor Freight Tag-Along trailer today at their store on E. 86th St. in Indy. Reg. price $399.99, on sale $329.99, 20% off coupon = $263.99 + $18.48 sales tax, total out-the-door $282.47. Had a busy schedule today, so have only done a partial assembly. Looks like some of the comments about cheap latches, etc. are pretty accurate, but I think it will probably work O.K. for me. I'll post again later after it's all together and I get a chance to use it.

I'm looking for a couple of those trunk latches used on a Harley trunk. Need both the latches and the hooks. Figured they'd be great for my trailer. Anyone got some? Could maybe even use the 1st gen (86-93) Yammi ones but the Harley ones are more compact in design. If I recall correctly, the Yammi ones there is one that is offset a bit so don't think that will work.

ok im looking for a way to stop them from leaking? they seem to close nice and tight? but after a rain or a simple wash job the top trunk gets about an inch of water in it? it runs to the far side while on side stand.\\ the right sadle bag does about the same/ i looked at the latches and see there pop riveted? i saw on ebay someone was selling a upper trunk repair kit? latches small screws straps ect ect. just need to figure out how to remove the rivets if thats the case or if there is just some kind of adjustment and gasket that can be used.

Make sure to latch and lock BOTH saddlebag cover latches. I left one latched but unlocked out of pure forgetfulness and guess what happened? On a very rough road close to home the lid flew off at 20-25 mph and slid down the road on its top of course. Now I have to get it repaired knowing if I had taken the extra minute or two to lock the latches, it wouldn't have happened. I always seem to learn from stupid mistakes
