We have a family gathering at a sister-in law's condo today, about a 15 minute drive. 8:05 AM, I ask my wife, "What time are we due at Cindy's?" The answer----hang on, here it comes---- "We can't go until the potatoes are done." Now, I'm 75 years old, on my second and last marriage. I've been getting answers similar to this from the both of 'em since 1964. All this experience and I still do not understand the logic of our precious ladies. HELP!

I will apologize right up front for anybody that I miss so please add to this list if you know of one that I've forgotten about. I want to thank those who donated prizes for our raffle at Maintenance Day though. You are all very much appreciated. Eusa1 - Diamond cut engine fins Baggershield - Adjustable windshield Carbon_One - Trailer Hitch Bob Myers - Delrin engine mounts Aussie Annie - Australian souvenirs Dingy - Sunglasses That crazy Stardbog even gave away two of his Heineken's. NOT a small thing to HIM. I want to thank my wife for picking up some small items for the ladies gift bags. I also threw in a VentureRider coffee mug, a VentureRider cap and some speakers to help sweeten the pot a bit. I know it wasn't much but I hope you all enjoy them. I KNOW that I'm missing somebody. Please let me know.

My wife loves to ride but her big hang up is helmet hair. now she has short hair and she has tried do rags & all but when we go in anywhere she ends up putting on a cap. She fusses and says "I don't ALWAYS want to have to wear a cap, I do like to look nice for u " which I"m thankful & heck she'd look good in a paper sack, okay to my question... How do u ladies deal with helmet hair?

Borrowed from a FB Friend... I was in a pub on Saturday night. Had a few drinks........ I noticed two large women by the bar. ... They both had strong accents so I asked "Hey, are you two ladies from Scotland?" One of them screamed "It's WALES you friggin' IDIOT!" So, I immediately apologized and said "Sorry, are you two whales from Scotland?" That's all I remember...

I am looking for a pair of ladies boots for my wife. She needs to feel comfortable riding behind me. Also, she just got her own license and so would do so much better if she had a good pair of boots of her own. I would wish for a pair of women's 9 1/2 Gortex zipper boots for a narrow foot. While I'm wishing, I want it all for under $100. It would make a nice surprise for her if I could pull it off for a surprise. Any ideas ladies. Iowa Guy

The instructor at the Lamaze class was giving the students a few last tips for the day. He turned from the pregnant ladies who were soon to deliver to speak directly to their husbands/partners/coaches. "Now among all the other suggestions I've made, there's one I want to emphasize," he said. "The best exercise for an expectant mother is to walk. So I want you fellows to encourage your ladies to take a walk every day. And the best way to do it is for you to walk with her." In the back, one of the husbands raised a hand. "I'm just wondering...while we're walking, would it hurt if she carried a golf bag?"

This is going to be ugly. I was sitting out on the deck today with my shirt off (it's already ugly), sipping a Jamesons, puffing a Cohiba and reading a book. Out on the lake others had their shirts off (no ladies unfortunately). Tomorrow we leave for Edmonton for the weekend. Forecast... -8 with snow flurries. I am packing bottles of brandy for emergencies.

Ladies recommendation for the pillion seat?
Guest posted a topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
We just did a hundred mile ride on my "new" 07 RSTD and my wife was miserable on the stock pillion. A year or so she had in injury to her tailbone and this stock pillion is just not going to cut it. Ladies - what pillion seat do you find comfortable for the Royal Star Tour Deluxe? We just moved from a C-50 Boulevard that I had Mustang seats on - and I had gone to great extremes to make sure we were both comfortable - but I don't want to go the Mustang route with the RSTD. Any recommendation for my lovely wife would be greatly appreciated.. Shep -
I just got home from the hospital. Cindy called me home from work because she had a 104 fever and was vomitting. Took her to the ER and they admitted her. They dont know whats wrong yet. I will keep everyone updated. I am off to bed. Have to get up in a few hours to take Haylie to see her counselor. My ladies are wearing me down. Dale

anyone coming to the eureka springs meet that would like to bring a prize to give away the night of the drawing is welcome to, this is not mandatory. we are going to have a drawing for the ladies and the men separately. so don't forget something for the ladies. i know some have already told me they are bringing some neat stuff, and linda and me did a little shopping too. we are also going to have a 50/50 drawing for st. jude and the procedes for that will go to squidleys tattoo fund. we are expecting a big crowd and going to do some heavy duty riding, eating, and evening partying on the big deck overlooking the woods behind the edelweiss inn. linda and i will be there tuesday around noon. to greet the early arrivals. for those of you that haven't been to the edelweiss it has a restaurant in front of it on the parking lot so you may have a hard time finding the driveway. don't forget to bring helmets, we may ride into missouri and they have a helmet law. have a safe trip and we'll see you there. bill and linda
