It is a sad day fors ol pickers like Freebird and a few others. The Queen of Country Music, Ms Kitty Wells, has passed on. Next to Willie, she was one of my favorite old time country singers.

My boy DaKota born on Oct 16, 2011. Sorry it took so long to post, but I know the rules about pictures. Check out the scales. Kitty did a great job on that day, all natural, no drugs or cuts ! Kitty was on her bike 10 days after delivery. Still looking for a good deal on a used hannigan 2+2!

So I, Mrs Kitty Hubert, Have now a 1987 Royal Venture!!! I'm so happy to have her home from North Carolina. Needs a good bit of work but I've got it under control right now. She is beautiful. Only problems we know of so far are: One of the front brake calipers wasn't working ( OutKast bleed it for me so it's good now ), No clutch?( goes into gear but doesn't move. Got the cover off and looks like small bits of metal and smells burnt:whistling:.), And it has some cosmetic needs. Can't wait to get it on the road. Going to really beat all those second gens now.

Thought some of you might be interested in seeing this as it goes across the country. Starts here in NC in Kitty Hawk and end up in Santa Monica CA. Looks pretty interesting all the bikes are 1916 and earlier. We're gonna head over to see them before they leave Kitty Hawk this week. http://www.motorcyclecannonball.com/ Margaret

O.K................Somebody has say it! I Dropped My Bike At Vogel!!! I was parked across from Dragonrider's cabin and any of you that parked there know that to leave that area, you have to go up a small incline and immediately turn on to the road. In my case it was to the left to head to my campsite. I started the bike, puy it into 1st; I accelerated the engine, slid the clutch out, and leaned just a little to my left to start the turn. Then the bike jumped into Neutral! Since I was already leaned over for the turn and now had no thrust, all I could do was gently lay it on it's side. Now, the reason that I bring this up is to relate something that we do at another club that I ride with: 1. If you drop your bike, you put $5 in the kitty. 2. If you crash your bike, you put in $10. The difference is 5mph; under 5 it's a drop, over 5mph, it's a crash! I think that this is something that might be a fun way to help out with the expenses/prize kitty for VentureRider.org! I just hit the "Donations" button on the top right side of the VR.O Toolbar, and donated $5.00 to the site. So anybody else want to admit to dropping thier bike this weekend? I know that I'm not the only one!
