Went for a ride with the wife and a friend today. Just as we got into Martinsville we made a lane cahange to pass a tractror trailer and a car and as we passed the car shge decided to pull over on me. I was last in line as ususal.This lady pushed me all the way over to the comncrete medium to where I emidiatley started throwing sparks of of the concrete where my center stand rubbed it. Then she came on over completely in the lane and had me between her car and the medium. After a good hard kick to her driver side door she realized I was there. As she was pulling on up I was pissed so I kicked the back drivers side door also. We got up next to her at the light and tried to get her to [ull over so I could check for damages and she refused and drove off. I call the police and the officer who came to the scene told me not to worry about what i did as maybe now she will look before she changes lanes. Therre was no damage to my bike, just a little scrape mark on the center stand where it made contact. Now as for her car there is 2 size ten dents on the drivers side. Watch out there.They sure aint looking for you. David

Got home safe about an hour ago. As usual at one of Lew's parties, had a wonderful time! :clap2: There is good news that I will let Lewis tell. There is bad news. The Alabama riders kicked out butts on the fund raising challenge. There were also several more of them that showed up in Memphis today.

While riding some twisties today I went into a right hand turn when I noticed a groundhog in the ditch ahead of me. Watching him I almost ended up in ditch with him!! I know better than that!!! Look where you want to go. Not in the ditch!!! Stupid trick!!! Kicked up a little dust. Hope a rock hit that sucker in the head!! I think he was waving at me!!

Well, 2011 started out great this morning. I woke up.. Rolled over and put my feet on the floor. No organ music and no flowers. What more could one ask for? Happy New Year to one and all and I hope your new year kicked off the same.

Anyone have one laying around they aren't using and might like to sell cheap? I have a really old Baron's tach mounted to the brake reseviour appx. 9-10 yrs old (goes up to 12k rpm which they no longer sell). I have talked to V7Goose and Bummer (thanks guys for your help and suggestions) and seems it has kicked the bucket. I really can't afford a new Baron's tach and am planning on doing one of Ponch's kit in the future, but in the meantime I would like to replace the one I have since it doesn't work properly anymore w/ another one.

I'm new to this whole venturr bike. I've learned a lot just reading from you guys and was wondering ddoes any one have a recommendation for a particular brand of cover? I have a 91 venture royale but I also need to cover my wifes 97 shadow. The building want go up till next year. My wife and I have also kicked around the idea of putting them in self storage for the winter. any one with expieriance in that wrought. Thanks folks as I do appreciate this site, It's helped me tremedacely already. David

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO PUT ON MY SADDLEBAGS TO KEEP THEM FROM GETTING SCRATCHED. BIKE IS 2006 RSV. SAW A SET BUT MY CRS KICKED IN AND I CANNOT RECALL WHERE. APPRECIATE SOME HELP.
