Just got off the phone with Virgina Scott at St. Jude Children's Hospital and we are scheduled for our tour for Sept. 12, 2009. If there is any change to this date I will know in a week or two, so dont make any reservations or vacation plans yet, till I get a confirmation from St. Jude. I have set the time of the tour fo 1:00 pm, that will give us time to have lunch at the Flying J Truck Stop before heading over to St. Jude. As in the past we will meet up at the Flying J Truck Stop in W. Memphis, Ark, which is just 5 minutes away from the hospital. I plan on getting there Friday evening and staying over so I can be there early, as I have been a last minute arrival for the last 2 trying to get there on Saturday. I will be posting more details later. Also on that note, I discussed the Teddy Bear gifts for the Kids at St. Jude and they do not accept them for sanitary reasons, even the hypoallergenic ones, because of the stuffing and such, so if you have them, you might want to present them to a local chairity, fire dept, police dept, or hosptial. I will be downloading a list from St. Jude that shows what items are acceptable as gifts.
