It is with a saddened heart I 'm passing along the following news. Jay/ ragtop69gs's Father had passed away yesterday. I know what he's dealing with due to the timing of his Dad's passing as my Father had passed away several years ago between Christmas and New Years day as well. Prayers going out for Jay, Jeanie, family , and friends during these trying times. Jay will be providing further news and info after tomorrows meeting with the funeral director. Thanks, Larry & Joyce

Just curious if anyone has one they would like to sell. Mine is seriously Kapoot. I keep checking ebay and can find em for 200 give or take but it's always for the whole dash... I don't need all that. Also, any ideas if other speedo's are compatible? Thanks guys and gals! Jay -

Just got off the phone with the Motel 6 where alot of us stayed last year. Their web site was showing now available rooms. However, I was able to book one, (LA we are covered:thumbsup:), If we can get a total of 12 rooms booked there they will give us a discount also. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will call back and talk to the Manager, Trina. NOTE: The gal I talked to said she thought that was Oberlin College graduation day so rooms around there go really fast Jay

Here is what has been occupying my time lately. New pool and now I've been working on the deck. This is better than a diet. I've lost 10lbs since Thursday! Thank goodness for my friend AJ:biker: and my blessed wife:2132:. AJ came and helped Sat. & Sun and my wife helps all the time. She is quite the woman. I've never had her shy away from helping with anything. One question though.........How'd I get so dang lucky!! I've taken the rest of the week off to finish the railing and the lattice around the bottom and then maybe I can relax and ride again. Later. Out to work! Jay

Hello Riders, I read about Avon Vemon tires on this site and when my original reat tire needed to be replaced after my trip to NY from AZ pulling my Time Out Camper, I bought a set and had them installed on my 07 RSV. I bought them from Bike Bandit and paid about $240.00 Delivered to my door in three days. The service and the assistance from their telephone sales department was excellent. The real news is the way the tires make the bike respond. The "top heavy" feeling at low speed is non-existent and at speed the tires handle more like a sport bike. There is no road noise whatsoever from this set of tires. I have just about got 100 miles on them for the break-in but the difference is absolutely nite and day over the Dunlops that were original equipment. I don't know about wear of course, but if it is not a good as the Dunlops (I got about 16,000 miles), I will take the lesser miles as opposed to the handling. I am sure that there are other tires out there, but your reccommendation on the Venoms sure have made my day. I have an arthritic shoulder and I'm thinking of lowering the bars on my RSV as much as possible to reduce some of the irritation I seem to have when riding. I know how to do it as I did it on my V*. Anyone done this and is there any reason NOT to do it? Thanks, Jay

I have purchased a Mio 310x GPS that should be arriving soon . I did quite a bit of research, but it really came down to price. I wanted the GPS, but also the MP3 capability. Chaos has one and he really likes it and it certainly got us where we were going. Does any one else out here have one or have opinions? Anything I need to know, or be aware of? Thanks, Jay
