Has anyone experienced electrical interference on their headsets when plugged into the intercom system? i am getting a ticking noise in the speakers when the engine is running. Ticking is there regardless whether using the headsets in intercom, Cb, or radio/audio mode. Any ideas or suggestions? The sets I am using are sold by Show Chrome Accessories...maybe part of the problem. Only cost $100 per set. Get what you pay for? Is there an inline noise filter available to eliminate the interference? Thanks!

I had to replace the # 3 throttle cable on my 86 Royale, and boy what a headache that turned out to be. Aside from the Stealership :mo money:taking almost 2 weeks to get the cable (last time I go there), it's not been an easy road since. First, after I replace the cabled, I can't get rid of all the freeplay. Has anyone else encountered this? I am thinking that the other 3 are stretched, and I'll have to replace all of them to get it back to normal. As well, the cruise control seems to have gone funky. When I set it, I slowly loose speed, it won't maintain. Those things I can deal with. The worst, and it's really my own doing, is now i have electronic interference in the headsets. I rechecked the routing of the harness, and the ground, but I can still "hear" the spark, and it's driving me crazy, as I went form crystal clear to this. :doh:Might my noise filer have gone? Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Good news is I finally got my hitch on (thanks Squid) & my new trailer pulls like a dream!!

Hi guys, after a long day's ride I got home and started to dust off the bike (a lot of dust kicking up around here from the high winds...) And I discovered one of my Firesticks antennas was almost all coming loose from it's mount. I guess it would have take another 2 turns or less for it to come completely off.. (right side, CB?) Now I reaaaaally don't want to put much of a wrench on it to tighten it up more because I already killed a Firestick last year when I applied too much ape to the torque and killed it.. Would putting blue loktite in there cause any interference? Ugh I can just imagine one of these flying off the bike and nailing the rider behind me.. ouch.. Thoughts, ideas? I had originally thought to getting large enough black heat shrink and holding them with that.. the idea was to hide all the chrome back there..

I have an '09 RSV and I can hear what sounds like ignition interference in the headsets. Also, the CB goes ito the receive mode when I blow the horn and sometimes without the horn blowing and no one talking to me. This creates a loud static noise in the headsets. Does anyone else have this problem?
