    Stopped at Wally world today and a different looking 83 Venture was setting out front. The owner came out as I was looking. He said this was a wrecked basket case when he got it. Removed all the electronics from the dash/fairing except the instruments and covered up the holes. Said most of the plastics was busted up, so he just took it off.

    Has anyone any experience with a unit like this on a first gen Venture? Could I retire my 26 y.o. dash board instruments en mass with one of these? Thanks, Brian H.

    Hi all, I have recently added a Venture fairing to my 1998 Royal Star. What I'm looking for is the windshield bracket (the metal band that you screw the windshield to). Additionally I need to fill the holes left where the speedometer/idiot light/cassette door reside. These parts NEED NOT BE FUNCTIONAL, in fact I would prefer they be non-working condition as the Royal Star has all instruments on the tank, and I'm just going to paint these black and use them as block off plates. I will be posting on various Royal Star/Venture sites. Thankyou Earl star4earl@comcast.net
