    It seems there is no kit available to lower the rear on the 1st gen. Is that correct. Anyone out there know of a "poor man's" fix for this. I'm inseam chalenged at 5' 4" AND A HALF! Ride safe, Mike

    I just made trade - the 03 Road Star for an 06 Venture. I put 76,000 fun miles on the RS and look forward to putting more on the Venture. Black cherry. I'll have pix soon as I take delivery this weekend. I'm having the Barons risers and a lowering kit put on to take of my inseam challenge and short arms:Cartoon_397:.

    Hi I am looking for recommendations for adding highway peg (or other) for the Venture. I find the "cheap" one that the bike has are not adequate. I am 6' 1" tall, with about a 34" leg inseam. Any suggestions? I think they would end up a on the engine guard and being somewhat out front to fit the length. Thanks for your recommendations in advance.

    ...VStar? That bike fits Mrs. GigaWhiskey really well until she cannot reach the pegs. Inseam challenged she is but not really.
