I need some help. I started off to work last week when my 1996 Royal Star Classic stuck in first gear and wound only shift to neutral and then back to first. I took the cover off and found one of the pins was missing. I have only owned the bike for 8 weeks. The bike has 39,000 on it but before this happened nothing gave me the indication any thing was wrong. It does appear someone has been in side the bike and doing the same thing. The tab was bent out and the pin was missing as already stated. I have some pictures if any one has an Idea where I should go from here it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. New to the forum.

I have a 2005 Silverado Z71 - A few days ago I noticed that the Speedo wasn't working. I immediately went to the odometer and it was registering mileage. The next time I drove the truck, it was working (speedo) then while driving it quit. Since the initial episode I've noticed it starting and stopping with no indication of trouble. It just comes and goes when ever - I'm guessing that the unit is electrical and not mechanical like they used to be - Anybody have this problem ? or have a solution ? Thanks

Noticed that carb boot for #1 cylinder is wet and seems to bubble from under the band. Tried to tighten it but it seems as tight as it gets. Is this an indication of a crack in the boot?

OK, 1985 Venture Royale, 46,000 miles Battery level lcd always shows indication and red light flashes. I have tried the resister (1.1 and 2.2), taken the dash apart and checked all solder connections on the first board, cleand all connectors. Still shows indication. All other lcd indicators function properly. The only thing that I noticed on the board was that the solder for a black transister looked a little funky, all others looked good. I resoldered the connection to board joints anyways to ensure that thy were good. Ideas?

I picked up a new battery for the 84 this evening on the way home from work. I filled the cells with the supplied acid to the top level mark and started a 2 amp charge with my Black & Decker Smart Charger I bought 3 years ago. After about 1 hour the charger full charge lamp came on. I said no way this should take 12-16 hours so I reset the charger and tried again. After 5 minutes the charger kicked out and showed full again. This time I replaced it with my heavy duty Napa charger and set it for 2 amps automatic. So far its still charging and some time tomorrow I should get a fully charged indication. I noticed over the winter months that Smart Charger would kick out and show a fault indication on a low battery in my scoots. I guess it's cooked.
