Well the high 90 and 100 temps drop so I had to get out and ride. I rode down 37 to Bedford Indiana. Took 450 over to Shoals then U.S. 150 to Paoli . Then took 56 over to Salem. Then 135 back to Indy. https://vimeo.com/48115377

I just received news that a local rider and his wife went down in Indiana, the preliminary reports were that he lost control when the rear tire blew out. I know him and he is a pretty conservative rider. His wife did not survive the crash and he is in bad shape. My training was always, let off...

well, I got my plate renewal today and I'm looking at $104 for a 2005 bought for $9,500 back in 2008.. seems a little hi even for indiana, the trailer was only $25. anywho who else is getting screwed and for how much.

heading out at 5am for a huge vintage scooter and motor bike flea market in portland indiana with a good friend of mine. we do it every year. i think i knew every scooter ever made and then another shows up there. if your in the area it's well worth a stop at the fairgrounds. it takes at least a day...

Well, my influence (for good or bad) has rubbed off on my eldest son, Curtiss. He is on spring break from college this week and leaving today to go riding/camping. Curt is taking my 2008 KLR650 which is a reliable machine loaded down with everything he needs. This bike is really a great packmule....

I was looking at a map of Indiana and seen this road of 446. It is south of where you go a cross Lake Monroe and where comes in to a town of Meumee. Then you could take W CR 1000 to Houston then Huston road to 135 and come out above Freetown. Anyone from Indiana been a cross this road. If so how is...

Last month out riding. A rider ask me if I had ever seen the grave in the middle of the road. It is 5 or 5 1/2 miles south of Franklin Indiana east of U.S. 31 on 400S. So I had to get out today so I rode out to see it.

Valerie and I made it home around noon today from the Southern Indiana weekend. Thanks to Joe (Freesyrider) and Donna for organizing the weekend. Although it was a bit cool yesterday we had a great time and met new and old friends and shared good food. What more could you ask for? Dennis
