I have a 4 ft by 8 ft trailer with 3 ft sides with the back open but braced. I want to install some tie hooks so I can transport my 89 VR if I had to someday. My question is where are the best places to install these hooks?

I just did my clutch up-grade and what a difference. Makes me wonder how long this darn thing has been slipping, I can't remember when it last ran like this. She really hooks up now. The cluth disks did'nt look too bad, a little blued. I sanded them a little (cross hatch) and put it back together, NICE! BIG THANKS! Carl:thumbsup:

This may seem mickey mouse, but I sure like how it works. I purchased two items at a dollar store that had plastic "hooks" attached, as shown in the pictures. As you can see, I hung the hooks on the existing helmet holders on my 88VR. While they obviously don't lock, they sure make it easier to hang my helmets there.

ok folks. I am in need of the cable that hooks to the bike that the lower headset cable hooks in to. Not sure of the name of the part but as I am sitting on the bike its in front of me on the left. I had a short in the cable and when I pulled the lower headset cable out the end of the plug came with it. I tried to rewire it but not knowing which color wire goes where I was afraid to mess something up. So if anybody is parting out a first gen and know if the cable you have is compatable with my 91 vr let me know. I would rather buy my part from friends instead of a stealor.. Tahnks in advance, David

OK, So I have removed my YCIS and plugged the ports, but what exactly does the sensor do that is has a vac line coming off of #1 (#2?) jug and runs up under the dash and hooks to the Pressure Sensor / Free Boost Sensor? I can't seem to find anything about it. Just wonder ing, and how does one test it?

Anyone have some extra headset cables they would be willing to part with? I need the lower cable that hooks into the bike and this upper one. http://www.twowheelsound.com/id55.html. Thanks, Jay
