Well after a lot of tough decision making, my beautiful '07 RSV is now somone else's ride. The GL 1800 is a lot more comfortable (for me) with it's lower center of gravity. I feel much more confident on it, 'specially when riding two up. Seat height is a little shorter also, and I can put my feet flat on the ground. Here is my problem. I installed a Kuryakyn heel-toe shifter and it included a shiny chrome plated left foot peg mount (bracket). The bike still has a dull grey OEM mount on the right side. I tried to buy just the right side mount, but the customer rep at Kury said no way, only way to get one is to buy their kit that has both left and right mounts, and use just the one. I tried to convince them that they should either put one in the heel-toe shifter kit or at least have one available to purchase seperately, but the answer was "it is what it is". Any suggestions? Yeh,I know, pull it off and get it plated. Other than that?-?-?-?

I like the heel-toe shifter on my RSV. I do not like the black coverings for the contact parts for your feet - I replaced mine with those Kuryakyn ones, and I do not like those either. I LOVE the heel-toe shifter on my '06 Stratoliner. So I want something like that on my RSV. Anyone got any ideas on aftermarket or something to give me that? Also after riding my Strat - my RSV's shifting feels "spongy" compared to my Strat - any suggestions on how to improve that as well? TIA!
