Tomorrow, we will be riding to Rabbit Hash, Ky for Old Timer's Day. There should be quite a few bands, food, and etc. We hope to see a bunch of bikes. After first reading about the Rabbit Hash General Store in the forum here a couple of months ago it has been on my list of places to visit. Today was the day. We left the Lexington, KY area around 10:00 this morning and made our way through Frankfort and up US127 and arrived at Rabbit Hash around noon. A very biker friendly destination. We had a lunch of burgers and hot dogs grilled outside with several 4-legged beggars around. We spent an hour or so there overlooking the Ohio river. There are some very nice roads in the area for riding and if you are in KY, OH or IN it is worth the a couple of hour ride to visit. Attached are a few photos. Dennis

Deb and I got out last Sunday and rode up to one of our favorite destination Rabbit Hash Kentucky. A wide spot in the road along the Ohio river between Louisville and Cincinnati. It's like stepping back in time a hundred years, very quaint. It made some national recongnition on the national nightly news a few years back when the local dog that hangs at the General Store was voted Mayor:rotf: You can Goggle it for some more info. Went back up to Rabbit Hash Ky today (See thread http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=22696) and Mariner Fan (Bob) and his lovely bride Ruthie drove down the 3 hours or so to meet up with us for a bit. Bob was one of the first to welcome me on here and we have been chatting regular, so it was sure nice to put a face with the screen name. Anway here are some pics of the day....
