We (the better looking half) and I are closing on our new house in Harrington DE tomorrow. Our house hold things won’t be delivered until next Tuesday but at least we will have a permanent address and we can get out of this cracker box we have been in now for almost a month. It will be great to have more then two rooms to move around in. And the dog will be able to go out without a leash and one of us with her. We will also have cable so I will be able to surf the internet a bit faster then a 1st. Gen and an email address. I will have to update me profile so I can receive emails and I look forward to meeting some of you in this area. I should be free and able to go on rides in a week or two. Memorial Day holiday coming up and I will probable be cleaning up the house and yard instead of riding but if anyone is going on a ride let me know by responding to this post and maybe I will be able to talk the wife into letting me out on parole for a day. Can’t wait…

Rest easy, sleep well my brothers. Know the line has held, your job is done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held. Peace, peace, and farewell... Readers may be interested to know that these wreaths -- some 5,000 -- are donated by the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine. The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He's done this since 1992. A wonderful guy. Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to DC with this event to help out. Making this even more remarkable is the fact that Harrington is in one the poorest parts of the state.
