Hello All, Quick question and background. Son rides a valkyrie. We just went thru all 6 carbs and reinstalled... REAL pita to reinstall airbox runners onto top of carbs. We reinstalled and cranked up and have a low idle issues that we believe to be an air leak, further investigation tomorrow. Now for the question, one of his forum buddies we visited had a fuel "bag/cell" hanging from the ceiling with a hose and pinch clamp to run bike without the tank on... Great idea huh. Have any of you made one and if so, out of what with what??? Wanting to make one tomorrow that I will use also on RSV when finished. (torn apart now) Give me ideas... hose, check, clamp, check, bottle.... woops. I need a fuel resistant IV bag! Ideas anyone? thanks for the help, James:biker:

DA WORK! Blinking LED Side Markers
Cougar posted a topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Thanks to Bill aka Wanna he figured out and helped me set up the relay so that the side markers will also blink/flash , they also work with the emergancy as well. the wires hanging were for my test before I button it up right. enjoy. Jeff -
When hanging an American Flag horizontal what is the proper manner for it to hang? I just started a new job and this is the first thing I notice when I walk in. The stars are on the south side of the flag, just looks wrong to me. Also the Iowa Flag is on the south side so if they were to be turned so they are hanging like on a pole then either the Iowa flag or the American flag will be upside down, yes they face opposite directions. Now the Manager is willing to change but I have to show some proof that they are hanging wrong. I can get a picture when I go in tomorrow. Thank You, Shaun

OK I was looking at my bike were they install the rectifier, regulator and I seen something that just does not look right to me. The plug and wires are attracted to the bottom to and hanging down. I would think it should be up in the bike as to not be exposed to the ground could someone take a look at this for me on there bike to see if it is right.

I'm leaving for a trip Sat. morning and I don't trust my HID light any more, so I'm puting the old Silverstar back in. Well, I took the HID lightbulb out, and I can't find the power cord for the headlight to reinstall the Silverstar. I thought I just left hanging when I put the HID in. I know this sounds crazy, but I can't see it anywhere. Where would the cord be coming from? I will be greatful for any help? Thanks

I'm close to going with an Edset headset rather than J&M Elite...but am somewhat concerned with the size of the unit hanging off the side of the helmet. My current J&M has just a small unit hanging off it that the cord plugs into. The Edset looks to be quite bulky compared to that. Is this an issue to anyone that has one? or is it worth it?

As posted in a different thread, I just picked up my BushTec Trailer yesterday. As for Storage, I thought I would hang it from the wall of my Garage - to keep it safe when not in use. Do any of you do this? Would hanging it from the eyelet in the Tongue be okay or better from the frame? Craigr

Hi All, I just finished replacing my TID Unit, which went better than I expected. Anyway, now the emergency flashers and turn signals don't work. The front signal lights are on but don't "blink". The fuses all look ok. I did accidentally arc across the device that is hanging off the left side of the battery box. (I don't know what it is called) Everything else seems to be working fine. Any ideas? Thanks for your help. Scott

Do you have these? Do you leave them dangling on the locks when not in use? I USED to until today. I was cleaning the bike this evening. Lo and behold, there are numerous marks and nicks in the paint on the truck, right above the locks. They now have a permanent place in my truck if not hanging a helmet. So, if you have them hanging, you might want to check and take them off. If you don't have them, take heed.

I know it's still about a month away, but was just wondering who makes the trip? Not being that far away, myself and a few friends will make a couple of day trips. I've been up there the last few years, hanging around the Funspot. Good parking and that's where all the vendors usually set up for the demo's.
