if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

If you have verizon and a Driod be advised they do not cover your phone with insuance. you have to have the extended warrantee and it is still a fight and you will loose. Pay every month for years (I started with Air Touch) The Droid Phone is designed to fail in 2 years. Be warned. Your insurance is no good unless you break it (hit it with a hammer if you have any problems) that is the only thing they cover. Once you try to have it fixed they screw you; again if you have any problem hit it with a hammer, they cover nothing other than that. I hope I have saved some of you some hassle I have had for the last 3 days. Back to a regular phone. Rod

I bought a set of Venture risers from Pinwall to put on my 96 RSTC. I have the bars off and the lower nut from the old risers. I can't seem to get the old riser off. I've tried to tap it from the bottom with a block of wood and hammer. And I also tried to turn it with a socket in the riser where the bars go. It won't budge. Any ideas?

This last storm has been a bad one here. I know that Alabama got hit hard, but we had seven people killed at a local truck stop in southwest Virginia and my kid brother was at the same truck stop when it happened. He had a 2X4 come thru the sleeper in the truck he was in and all he got was some minor cuts from glass. My lady Linda had new windows installed in her house two weeks ago and 12 of them got broken and her vinyl siding looks like someone spent an hour shooting the house with a machine gun from the hail. My Maxima looks like someone with a big ball peen hammer went all over it. I am surprised my windows survived but my passenger side mirror is busted. My concern now is our eastern NC friends like Mini Muffin, ADC Aurthur, Beer 30 and others. This one is not done yet. RandyA

Been at this for a week now almost,,,, trying to remove the fly wheel so I can send the starter clutch to Dano, so he can make his millions, but the dang thing won't jump off. Just how much torque is too much or is my next tool selection a sledge an then a jack hammer. I've heated it, tapped it, pounded it, spoke to it, about it, did everything but take it to bed with me,,,,,, I'm not sure Marca would understand or appreciate it. What Now??????

The darn Bambi's are getting downright pushy. Yesterday Janet came home and one was lying down in her carport. It was nice and comfy and refused to move. I went out and explained that the weekend before we had BBQed one of his mates. He was not impressed. When I turned around I saw another one curled up in my carport next to the Merc. Have to get out the apple and the hammer.

Did somebody has take off and put back the carbs on a 96-00 Royal Star? The real question is how to put it back fitting properly on the rubber boots that goes to the cylinders? after replace the boots, It seems that even when everything is ok, there is no way to put the carbs back on place. All that I reach was my finger hammered till now with the rubber hammer. Thanks

When on trailing throttle at 45+ MPH I find it very difficult to roll back on the throttle with out experiencing a jerky re-engagement. I do not hammer the throttle back open. Just roll it back on. Shafties usually don't have this. What could be out of tolerance or is it normal?

how do these come off? they appear to just slip on and be held in place by the springs but I cant get them loose. Are they screwed on? or do I just need a bigger hammer?

Hey guys & gals, I was taking off my saddlebags today, got the right side off, opened the lid, took off the 4 bolts, no problem. However, left side, I couldn't get the lid open. Somehow, the locking mechanism has broken. Any of you know how to open the lid with the lock broken? I tried just about everything I could without taking a sledge hammer to it. Any suggestions?
