So Muffinman is home, picked him up at the airport 12:30am sunday. But before he got here he had one of his layovers in London. So the pic attached was sent to me by our member greg in london when they met up. Greg took him for a ride around the west side of London as I understand it. Muffin road pillion. They had lunch and chatted (I know any of our members sitting around BS'ing what a shock). Thanks Greg for meeting him I know he enjoyed getting to meet you. So he's home and getting ready for MD. See you all on Friday unless you don't get there till Saturday. I'll let muffinman tell you all his interesting tales himself. Like when they woke him up on the plane in London before it left and made him get off. Margaret

I've been unsuccessful by searching so here's my question. Is it possible to adjust the bars on the RSTD. All I'm looking to do is raise the grips so they're an inch or so higher than they are right now. I can't see because of the dash so hoping somebody can explain how to do this. thanks Greg

On Tuesday the 25th, there will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Greg Darling. The service will be at 4pm in Roswell Ga, with visitation with the family from 3pm. I talked to his wife, Valerie, and told her I intend to ride to the service. She said "Thank you. Greg would like that, and no suits, wear your riding gear and bring your helmet in with you!" I intend to leave my house at about 3:15 for a leisurely ride to the service, arriving about 3:40. I would love for any of you in the area that can make it to join me. I think we could stop for a bite to eat after. Dragonrider has said that he will be here and I believe Blackjack and Fly-N-Lo might make it as well. If you would like to join us and would like my address for your GPS, or directions for your 2D Nav, just give me a call or PM me. Below is the info from Valerie's email to me: As Greg wished, there will be a Memorial Service for him as a Celebration of his Life. The service will be on Tuesday, March 25 at 4:00 PM in The Chapel at Roswell United Methodist Church (Building B), Mimosa Blvd., in Historic Roswell, Georgia (where both our sons were christened). The azaleas and dogwoods will be in bloom, at a time of Rebirth and Easter, a time he loved. Memorial Service for Greg Darling Tuesday, March 25 4:00 P.M. The Chapel Roswell United MethodistChurch, Bldg. B Mimosa Blvd., Historic Roswell, GA Visitation with Greg’s family one hour before and after service in The Parlor, Building B. Directions to hotels from Airport: Interstate 85 North through city of Atlanta (downtown) to I-75 North (signs will say Marietta). Connect with 285 East (towards Greenville/Augusta), exit onto GA 400 going North. From GA 400, take exit 7 towards Roswell (east). For the Marriott, stay in right lane, make immediate right onto Market Blvd. Marriott Courtyard is on right. For the Doubletree, exit toward Marietta (west) onto Holcomb Bridge Road. Hotel is ¼ mile on left. Directions from both hotels to the Church: Exit hotels onto Holcomb Bridge Road (left on Holcomb Bridge Rd). Go 1 mile to Warsaw Road (Olive Garden restaurant is on left). Left on Warsaw Road approximately 2 miles to Atlanta Highway (St.). Turn left. Go through first intersection to second light (Mimosa Blvd.). Left on Mimosa. Church and Chapel are on the right side. Chapel is Building B. Look for signs to The Parlor at back of building for Visitation with Greg’s family. And if you missed it, here is a link to the essay that his 8 year old son wrote. Warning: This is very emotional!

Greg Darling is a friend that I met a few years ago. He followed me into a restaurant and asked "Was that you that just rode up on a Venture?" I replied "That depends on why you want to know!" That was the beginning of a friendship. He had just bought a 92 and we sat and talked Ventures, I turned him on to this site and we began to ride together. Later he moved it to his house in Florida and bought an 83 to keep here in Roswell. On this site he went by GOYO, and although he didn't post, he did check in periodically. He has been battling cancer for some time and, after going through treatments last year, was in remission and doing well; getting both his strength and hair back. I called him a few weeks ago and he was in the hospital. He told me the cancer was back with a vengeance and he said he had a lot of family there, but would call me in a few days. I talked to him a little over a week ago and asked how he was doing. He said "Not too well, I am in hospice now and don't have very long. But I've had a good life and am happy with it." I told him that I expect him to ride over my shoulder and he agreed. I didn't get a chance to see Greg before he passed on Sunday (3-2-08). I am very sorry for that but after talking to his mother-in-law today, he was not really aware of much for the last week. Greg is survived by his wife Valerie and 2 young children. There is to be a memorial service on the Tuesday after Easter which is the 25th. I'm not sure where it will be held but it will be in the N Atlanta area and I intend to ride to it if at all possible. As the time draws near I will post the time and place for any that care to join me on the way to or at the service. Don, I will try to get you info and a picture for the Memorial Page. You will be missed, Greg. Ride with God.

Has anyone ever order from: https://www.rickroushaccessories.com/store/index.php Their prices seem very very good. The only contact method is by contact form on the site. There is no phone number, address or email address. Would like to hear from anyone that has had experience with them. Greg

Hi all, I am trying to track down a used 2nd gen amp for a project on my bike. Does anyone have one that they would sell to me or do you know of any wrecking yards that are parting a 2nd gen? Thanks, Greg
