Anyone ever use this supplier or have any comments they'd like to share about them? I currently have a clear Showchrome shield, but I'm thinking about getting a gray tinted replacement, and this is one of the options I'm checking out. Thanks. http://www.ceebaileys.com/yamaha/royalstarventurews.html

OK gang, another update on the continuing changes to my beast; I painted the bike gray with clear a couple of months ago. I also painted the windshield trim black. I like it a lot. However, the top-box and 'bags looked huge in gray primer. One of the new BMWs has its 'bags painted black on the back-half. I think this makes them look smaller. Here are pics of my two-tone top-box and 'bags . . . What do ya think?

I have crossed over to the Dark Side, well maybe it's more like gray. Titanium gray. This morning I traded in my '83 VR that I have in the classifieds on a Goldwing. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to the technical articles in this web site. Huge, huge help. There were two folks who had expressed an interest in my VR, but things kind of fell into place when this deal came along. Once again thanks for everyones friendship and expertise! Scott:7_6_3[1]:

Memorial day weekend I rode home from Chimney Rock, NC to Albany, Ga in the rain. There were a few times I had to pull off the road it was raining so hard. When I got home there wasn't a spot on my bike that didn't have the gray road film on it. Yesterday I put my bike on the lift, removed seats, removed the saddle bags and I put a spit shine on the bike like you wouldn't believe. I cleaned everything including the pumpkin on the rear end. I was going to pull in Freebirds on maintenance day with a shiney bike but now it looks like I will pull in with gray road film all over the bike again. I should have know that if I wash and wax my bike it rains.

Hello All, I'm just a little curious if any of you have seen this too? This morning I decided to finally get around to swapping out my OEM air filter a K&N. But to my surprise, when I opened up the air box there was a fair amount of moisture in the box and some gray foam around what i assume to be the crankcase breather tube. Now I just changed the oil and filter last month, and the oil looked good then. so the first thing i did now, was to peer through the oil level window--again the oil looked right...it looked like fairly new oil (it was not gray or white) and it had NO layering. Next i checked the coolant reservoir...it was right in the middle. So...i went for a ride anyway. Sixty miles later...the oil this looks right, neither gray nor foamy white. Now of late, I've been taking cold rides, air temp of around 40 or so degrees. I guess my question is: is this moisture a sign of these cold rides or do I had a problem growing here? I've had several water cooled bikes and have never seen this before. And last Spring when I last cleaned the original air filter, there was no sign of moisture/water then. Any Thoughts? As always, thanks in advance for your advice.
