This seems to be the correct forum to post this request. (If not, I apologise - so just respond, okay?) Seriously though folks, I have fitted a Voyager outfit to my 2004 RSV and now need to hook up the additional lights fitted thereto. The Voyager is obviously wired up, with a 7-pin flat plug and I have acquired the matching socket and cable to wire in to the bike. I've been told by other 'Voyagers' that the best place to do so is just aft of the battery. I would assume that would be correct, and I would just use normal 1-into-2 splicing connectors? I'm okay with doing it myself, having dabbled in auto wiring (and house wiring) for many years. The other option is to go to the harness and connectors beneath the tail light - the ones all curled up under the number plate bracket. Any clues, ideas, opinions and/or advice please? Thanks for your collective time. I know it's valuable.

I have a 2009 XVS1100A. I have fitted Baron Nasty Boy Mufflers. Now I have a missfire . It only seems to happen under full throttle. It missfires briefly and then clears it self. At first I thought it was the rev limiter kicking in, but it seems to do it intermitantly no matter what revs im pulling. Its driving me crazy. Mostly in first gear from the lights. Grrrrr I also fitted a Baron big air kit but bike shop removed this because the vaccum operated needles would not function properly, or so they told me.

We bought this rusty old engine in September, and have been puttsin' with it ever since. It's a 1920 vintage IHC model M, 1-1/2 hp at 650 rpms. Just got it running a little over a week ago. This engine had a very worn egg shaped bore when I got her. Had a new sleeve tube machined and fitted to the IHC sleeve and then fitted to the old piston with new rings. Engine was very stiff, so I used my Fairbanks Morse ZD to turn it for a while before trying to light the M. [ame= ] [/ame] Had a few other issues to work though along the way, but here it is running on the magneto even. [ame= ] [/ame] I wonder how long it will take for everyone else living here to get tired of me starting it up every day?

Hi everyone I have an '06 rstd with the very loud chirp which having tried different oils including amsoil with no success, have approached my dealer about getting an 'I' basket and althought the the 'I' basket number is good that they would have to get it from overseas and would cost around $450-$500. with no guarantee that it would be the 'I' basket, and as been said by some that it didn't fix the chirp. My request is does anyone have an 'I' basket available or can get hold of one and if so how much not including freight that would make it bit more financially better to risk. I read on a post from some time back I think from Kit with 'crickett' that he had the 'I' basket fitted but then fitted another which cured the chirp, was the 2nd basket fitted another 'I' basket? Would be thankfull for any help. Alan (from Adelaide Sth Australia)

I saw an exhaust on a Kawasaki Voyager (a 1993 I think) and I am wondering if anyone has a source for something like that that could be adapted to my 90 VR. They are the dual tipped ones. They are apparently welded to the muffler, but I wonder if any aftermarket tips could be fitted to a VR? Any advice /info would be appreciated. I saw some on a VR in the Gallery, but can't remember who it was. They really look sharp.

Hi Guys, Anyone thought about or got any ideas on how to carry 2 sets of golf clubs on the scoot? I've got some of my own ideas but I just thought it would be interesting to throw the thought on this group. I've looked on the web and there is some clever stuff but not 'Full dresser' specific. I have a towbar fitted and I'm thinking akong the lines of something that would fit on the towbar attatchment. Look forward to hearing or seeing what you have to say.
