It's no secret that New Enough is an excellent company and offers customer service like few other companies. I know from personal experiences in the past. I own a pair of Firstgear riding pants and seem to have lost the liner. I did not buy them from New Enough but I have been unsuccessful contacting anyone at Firstgear. NE put me on hold and tried as well and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone either. I started calling Firstgear's 800 # a few weeks ago with no luck. I even tried e-mailing them. Needless to say I don't believe I'll be buying Firstgear anymore. The gentlemen said they didn't sell just the liners for the pants but he would try and track some down. He called me back an hour later and said he was able to get in touch with a FG dealer who was trying to track down the liners. He took all the info and passed it to the dealer and promised to call me back. Keeping in mind that NE is making nothing off this transaction I was impressed. I've bought a lot of gear from NE and will continue to do so. PS. the web site listed on the FG pants has not worked either for the last month. www.firstgear-usa.com (EDIT) I just tried the link from this post and the site opened. I tried again from my browser and it's still not working. Not sure what's happening here. (EDIT-EDIT) I found a direct number at the web site and left a message. We'll see what happens with FG now.

I bought a Firstgear Jacket off of fleabay, I thought it was the Killi model and would have been happy if it was, But it turned out to be the next step up jacket. It retails for $400.00+ bucks. I got it for $90.00 something with "cashback" from microsoft. Jacket is well made and has all the vents and pads I wanted. The back padding is weak, but they say it works. The pocket system is a bit over the top, but I'll make use of some of the matrix of stash pockets. If its above say 36 or so you don't need the liner/jacket. Below that your cozy down to 25 or so. Thats the coldest Ive been in so far. Water seems to be repelled pretty good. It has alot of velcro on it to seal things up. Its a hassle fighting the velcro but it works good keeping the air and wet out. The Killi and this jacket look to be very good 3 season jackets all year for some. You can find both of these on the web for around $100.00 bucks. I recommend either one.

Ok folks; yesterday my wife told me that my "WarmGear" ensemble arrived at the house. Since I work at Mcchord AFB in Tacoma, I have to wait till tomorrow to open it and check out the new stuff. I have read quite a bit about the different offerings out their on the web site, but last year my wife bought me the warmgear gloves for my birthday and so I thought that I would get the rest of the ensemble to match. I wanted to get the socks but they are sold out. A buddy of mine from work told me about a place in Lakewood, WA. thats sells heated clothing (Eagle Leathers) so I popped in there yesterday and found that Gerbing sells heated insoles for boots and bought some for $59.00. Today I went into the local Triumph store in lakewood and they sell "firstGear". I think that WarmGear and FirstGear are made by the same company, because if you look at their stuff side by side it looks exactly the same. Anyway I can't wait to get it all wired on the bike and me, and then go check it out, which will be tomorrow.
