What is the real difference between a battery tender jr and a battery charger? Since the last battery I put in the bike was a AGM type I am wondering what it is I should be using. Read articles about desulphering and all kinds of technical stuff. Just need to know in layman's terms what to do or at least an explanation of what each kind does and if it is important to me or not. Let the technical guys come back first and then you can let the insult fly.

Just curious as to how those of you that installed hiway pegs, how have you mounted the brackets...to the front or to the back or in between...and how you have pegs pointing? Pictures would be of GREAT help and an explanation as to why you have them the way you have them mounted. This can be helpful for BOTH vertically challenged TALL and SHORT people. Thanks, Wally

Is there a chart or list somewhere that shows what models numbers have what equipment and what year they are? I searching I found [ame=http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24554]this[/ame], but it doesn't address the model numbers. The title says my 84 is a XVZ12DL, but the 83-84 shop manual lists an L, KCZ, DL, DKCZ, TDK and a TK with no explanation of what those model numbers mean or what the differences are. http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forums/style_emoticons/22306set/eusa_think.gif Edit: I just saw mention of KC2 and a DKC2 as well.
