Hello, Been awhile since I've been on. My 1983 is up an running for the season, but I still am having trouble with a "serious" exhaust leak. I mean it seems to be leaking in several different locations. I have purchased new gaskets for all the pipe locations. And I guess I'm going to try and tackle it this coming weekend. But I was wondering if there is anyone out there (in my local area of Akron Ohio) that has done this type of thing before and would like to give me a hand? If you can help out or give some advice and would like to get together this weekend, drop me a PM and we'll exchange info. Thanks everyone.

I'm looking real hard at the Wally World $45.00/month cell phone plan. I'm currently paying AT&T about $200.00/month, for 3 lines. I still have the "old" unlimited plan, but I hear they are beginning to FORCE us off of that plan, by throttling down the speed. 1st question is will it sync with an exchange server for email? Currently I use a 4YO Blackberry but have to pay AT&T extra a month for "Enterprise Activation" for connection to the company Exchange email server. 2nd, from the looks of it at Wally World there is only one "phone" for sale for the $45.00/month plan. Will other "phones" work on this service? (I really like my current BB! Yeah this old dog don't like new tricks!!!) 3rd, For those that are using this Wally World service, what do you think? How is the coverage?

OK several people have been asking about the leftover parts from ythe Hannigan hack, so here';s what's gone already. Diamond R hide a hitch, gone! Rear fender, Gone! Rear rotor, gone! Saddlebags are going on Goldie mounted backwards to accomodate the Ventureline rear bumper, so gone! Rear brake, gone. Yet to find a home, chrome triple tree, rear shock, rear tire, differential (hoping to sell to a VMax owner exchange) and rear sub frame. These parts have only 8K on them. The rear shock was sold but the interested party recently totaled his scoot. If interested just PM me...

OK, this will need to be done quickly, if at all. I am sending in my seat for a Russell Day Long conversion. Apparently, they need more than just the pan. However, my seat has the Butt Butler mod done to it. It would be a shame to send this nicely modified seat to be converted if someone locally would like it in exchange for a standard (non-pillow top) seat. Mine is studded, yours would not need to be. This would be a straight up exchange - no money involved. I will try to get some pics posted tonight. However, it is in perfect shape - no cuts or tears and both studs are in good shape. If there is anybody in the central WI area that would like to exchange, let me know. I need to get a seat sent out to Russell early next week - latest. For those that don't know, the Butt Butler modification is wonderfully comfortable. It takes a 200 mpd (mile per day) seat and makes it a 400+ mpd seat. However, I need a 1000 mpd seat and it just doesn't quite get there. My phone number is in my profile. RR

Can someone give me the URL for the bell exchange please? I left mine on the bike when I traded it and need to buy one for someone so I can get another for myself. Thanks......

To all ... beware of this company. This past Christmas I ordered a pair of Leather Motorcycle Jeans for my wife. I guessed at the size, and was wrong. So I contacted Open Road Leather and Accessories, told them about the problem, and they gave me an RMA number. I returned them post haste to exchange for another size and model that had a more generous boot cut. I called him after a week because I had not heard anything from him. He did receive the pants bsck and was prepared to make an exchange for me. I gave him my information (there was a difference in the price of the pants) and I assumed the deal was done..right? Three days later he calls me, and now all of a sudden the pants have a "leg cut off"??? And that the factory won't accept them back - and I am out 115.00 bucks. The pants basically came out of the box and back in. There was nothing wrong with them when I sent them back. I can't believe this.. He wouldn't do anything for me? I am told the pants are coming back to me. I will be interested to see the box they are in and if it was slashed open in shipping. In any case - I am done fuming. There is no honor in business anymore. Frustrated.. Stu

Just thought I'd take a few minutes to say something nice about the great customer service from New Enough. Ordered a jacket from them last week, and ordered the wrong size. They have an excellent exchange policy. Ordered the correct size on an exchange and they ship the replacement jacket out even before they got the original back. Now that is customer service.......... Highly recommend them. If anyone needs riding gear, check them out at www.newenough.com you won't be disappointed.
