Anyone transported their bike to Europe? When I get reach again (!!!) I would love to tour Europe on my bike (have no interest in renting someone elses). Just curious if anyone from our organization has done that?!

I don't post a lot but I think some of my friends will be glad to know that I'm in Europe. I have been in Copenhagen and Budapest for the last week and will stay in Levice, Slovakia for the rest of the month. I will probably take a short trip to the U.K. and visit our office in Germany while I'm here. Don't worry about Patricia, L.A. Pryor said he was on the job. Hmmmmm. Really missing some of the best riding weather in the states, but need a job to do the riding. Already looking forward to the 4th of July. Any good meet & eats planned for then? Jim

While at daytona this weekend I was looking for a new helmet for my (cold) night driving up in Jacksonville, FL. I was at the Helmet Shop and found the new Nolan N43 Trilogy. Now I tried on Nolan's in the past and they alway rubbed on my forhead but this one has been changed to fit my noggon great. Price-eee at about $240 bucks but take a look into it and tell me what you think of it. I didn't buy it... only because I had not done my research yet and I stepped away from the counter when I started thinking about putting my intercom onto it. If I installed the set I now have (J+M) I would have to cut a chunck out of the new helmet so I am thinking hard about putting an other $175 into a head gear that will fit right into the helmet (like their n-comm unit does). Anyway, I did find out that this new N43 helmet over in Europe is called the N43 Air. That one has a better air flow then the trilogy but is not sold here.'''' Now that is the one I would like to buy! So if anyone has the nowhow on how I can get it...(like some of our venture buddys over in Europe) please help me out. ken

I haven't been over here in a while and I'm not sure if any of these guys were members but we had a tragic event last week with members of the UK Venture club who were over in Italy riding with what was the European Venture club that evolved into the Motorcycle Touring Club of Europe, MTCE. Anyway, here is the link: http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/World-News/Three-British-Motorcyclists-Are-Killed-In-A-Crash-At-A-Tunnel-In-Italy/Article/200909415387266?lpos=World_News_News_Your_Way_Region_8&lid=NewsYourWay_ARTICLE_15387266_Three_British_Motorcyclists_Are_Killed_In_A_Crash_At_A_Tunnel_In_Italy Colin was very helpful for me when I organised the big Euro Tour back in 2004 when over 40 Venture riders from the US & Canada came over for a two week tour of Europe by bike.
