Kids today!!! I gotta wonder sometimes. Went to McD's for lunch (as I usually do). The regular gals had the day off and they had a bunch of young folk manning the tills ... they weren't green at the job but... I asked for a Crispy Chicken wrap, no sauce (it comes as either Ranch or Spicey sauce). Kid says "will that be Ranch or Spicey?" ... I say "no sauce". He says "but, it has to be either Ranch or Spicey" ... I repeat ... "no, I don't want any sauce" ... he says "but I have to enter one or the other...which one will it be?" ... my response "take your pick coz once you remove the sauce it makes no difference". guess he couldn't fathom that one at all

I have been having trouble with signing in lately and today I did some checking and found that my virus software by CA Internet Security was apparently blocking me from signing in. The software had enabled the "Protected Mode" of my browser and would not allow me to log in. I would enter my user name and password and then it would log me in to the redirect screen and then I guess drop me back out of the log in. I had to diable that and enter the sites URL manually as an allowed site and then re-enabled protected mode and it has worked fine ever since. Don't really understand what caused it to do it because I was logging in okay just last week. I went out of town for a week and when i came back I couldn't log in. Anyone else out there have CA Security software? That's how I fixed it.

There are a lot of good deals to be found on Craigslist. However, it is craigslist's policy to only deal local. So even if you live inbetween three craigslist cities (like I do) you have to search each city's website idependantly. It's actually craigslist policy to prevent people from buying or selling over distance. The problem is, when you know what you want, you don't mind driving a few hours or waiting a few weeks to get the item in the mail. So I think I found a way to search for stuff, using google, on craiglist. This should work for any decent search engine, I just like google. First of all, if you click on the "Advanced Search" button Google will enter all of these details for you. First off, enter the terms you want to search for: yamaha venture Google will search for and return a result for any website that has either yamaha or venture somewhere in the page. This will return first gens, second gens, vans, snowmobiles, etc. So let's say you are only interested in the Second Gens. You can limit the search more by adding a phrase, surrounded by quotation marks. Enter the term: "Royal Star Venture" Now google will search for any website that has yamaha, venture, or royal star venture. However, those sites that have all three will be prioritized to the top. If you are not interested in a chevy van, or a yamaha snowmobile (both of which are also called venture) you can delete search terms with the negative sign: –chevy –chevrolet –ski –snow –rs –snowmobile No google will exclude any site that mentions one of the negative signs. Finally, you can search within a specific domain by adding the term site: site:craigslist.org The final search term should look like this: yamaha venture "royal star venture" -chevy -chevrolet -ski -snow -rs -snowmobile site:craigslist.org Again, google will enter all of this information for you if you click the "advanced search" button. Now, google does have a couple of limitations: 1. If someone list an item on craiglist, google will not find it for several hours to several days. 2. The search results can be outdated. 3. You still may miss some items that aren't listed correctly, and get a hit on some other items you don't want that are listed incorrectly. Either way, , and happy hunting!

OK I have the posting for the reservations for the 2009 Hub rally in the International Rally forum section. I had it all nice and fancy and hit enter button and lost everything:bang head: OK redid everything and hit enter again lost it again. Forum Said something like I had no permission to do this? too tired so I made it short and sweet and it went in OK. So I hope everybody can read it OK. Been working on this during lunch and breaks and most of the night hours with hardly any sleep trying to make it nice and pretty for everyone. bummer Sorry for the wait and the trouble.... Buddy

The price for those in the US is $61.50 delivered, and for those members in Canada the total will be $71.00USD delivered. We have a situation that is not going to effect those who have already paid for their braces, but will effect a handfull of members on the list who do not frequent the board all that often. Because of their infrequent visits, using the PM feature isn't effective when trying to contact them, and they also have designated not to accept email in their CP. Therefore I have no way of keeping them aware of what's happening, and if their braces aren't prepaid by the time I place the order, they will not be included. For those of us who are planning on attending the International VentureIn in Ontario this summer, a bit of fore planning may be in order. Now I know that since we have matured, we are all of impecible moral character. However if, by chance, you may have had a minor lapse in your younger years, the following may be of particular importance, Criminal inadmissibility If you have committed or been convicted of a criminal offence, you may not be allowed to enter Canada. Criminal offences include both minor and serious offences, such as theft, assault, manslaughter, dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. For a complete list of criminal offences in Canada, consult the Canadian Criminal Code. If you were convicted of a crime when you were under the age of 18, you can probably still enter Canada. Our Canadian friends can clarify this more, but it is my understanding that on occassion (depending on the border agent), even a simple speeding ticket has resulted in denial of admission. And, arriving on a scoot is going to give them more reason to look closely at you. Would hate to see anyone get all the way to the border and be turned away.
