My 83 just started flashing the battery emblem when I start it up. After several minutes of running, the battery emblem goes out and does not appear until I shut off the engine and restart it. I'm suspecting first the battery, then the charging system second. How do I go about determining which is at fault? Thanks ahead of time for the help.

Well here it is finally got it back together all painted,just a little more wheeling and she should look complete. Now a name plate for the back where the goldwing emblem came off. Hum-lets see maybe Goldstar,yamawing,??????????. Joe

I need suggestions for a cartoon caption to be put by the Tweety bird I have on each side of the trunk. Going to have Jaybird put something on at Freebirds this coming weekend. I have a similar Sylvester the cat emblem coming that will go on the rear center of trunk. He will have a cartoon caption reading '"I thawt I taw a Tweety Bird!" These are a metal key chain emblem that I have removed the round connector at the top and attached with automotive emblem glue. Looking for something sort of cute and funny, and not demeaning to anything. Might get a cage done around 1 of them, and something else on other one. I had a spill a few weeks ago and I'm looking for a right side saddle bag hinge emblem with "Midnight Venture" on it. I know a few years ago someone was making custom inserts......soooooo does anyone have one kicking around they don't need? Thanks Keith

My bike doesn't have the emblem on the cassette door and I want to use one for other things. I can't find them on ebay, does anybody have one they want to part with. I'll be happy to pay for them, I think I want to get two of them.

Many of you have seen my Rendition of a Royalstar Venture Firefighter Edition. Well my buddy Smitty who has a Roadstar was on the phone with a rep from Yamaha for an extended period of time dealing with a problem on his bike. During the conversation he spoke of my bike (Maybe thats because he painted it!). Well cut to the chase Yamaha is very interested in seeing my bike and wants him to take some good pictures and put them on a disk. He has instructions on who to send them to. Well I got mixed feelings. Last thing I want is for Yamaha to copy my idea and I sure dont want to get in trouble for and copyright deal as my self designed tank emblem used the Star emblem. I probably should not be so paranoid so lets see how it goes. This could get really cool. Pics of the bike are in my Gallery for those who want to see it.

I am so depressed.... I was cruising down the highway when I felt something hit my foot. At first I thought it was something the car in front of me kicked up. When I got home I noticed it was my emblem. Went back a couple of times and searched with no luck... Anyone know where I can find one of these. They are discontinued through the dealers... Please help... Thanks

I have been looking at a RSV to buy and i see alot of them that have no tank emblem why is that? i am looking at a 06 and i have found a few but they have taken it off are they not wanting people to know what they are rideing? if i was to buy a RSV where can i look to buy the 06 tank emblem any help at all would be nice. thanks
