Can anyone tell me what must I do to eliminate the anti dive system on my 83 Venture? I'm also interested in de-linking the brakes and would appreciate any feedback on this too. Thanks! Tim http:http://www.kloppenberg.us/motorbiketim

When I pulled my ignition switch out I had some heat related issues on the red wire. It would seem to me that that problem stems from the addition of the driving lights as they are the only non-standard item that would add draw. I am not sure how to do it but it would appear that the best way to eliminate the load on the switch would be to put in a relay on the driving light circuit. I am sure others have done this. Would anyone care to share how difficult they found this to do and what challenges I need to be prepared for? I sure would appreciate it.

I have a 2006 TD in White.I always get a little buildup of black either brake dust or residue off the tires on the inside of the bag lids, not ever very bad as I lean just about every day I ride, but very annoying. I was wondering if anyone has tried different pads, or knows any other tricks to lessen or eliminate this problem thanks BTW, this is my first post, and I love all the info I have gotten from everyone's posts so far. Thanks Everyone

2006 Midnight Venture........Left rear cylinder is now gas fouling the spark plug. I'm on the 2nd plug within 10 days now. Is there something specific I can do to eliminate this problem......and would switching to a hotter plug do the trick? I'm running NGK 4929 plugs in all cylinders now. Regards.........Boomer

Can anyone tell me how to check the timing chain tension. I have a noise that I am trying to run down and would like to be able to eliminate the timing chain as the cause. Thanks for any help.

I picked my bike up from the dealer this afternoon. They did a complete service and part of it was installing an "I" clutch basket under warranty. I think it helped some but it did not completely eliminate the noise. It's still there, just not at such a high pitch. I think it was worth the effort. DT
