Does anyone know where I can get a hopnel tank bib with the pouch for my 2004 midnite venture. I had one before that was braided in the centre and along the outside edges. The ones I see now all have the braid on the outside edges but not in the middle, the middle is plain.

Not bike related ! Im in the middle of a 2nd floor bathroom remodel. The walls are demo'd back to the studs. The floor down to the plywood sub floor. I didnt expect to have to replace the plywood sub-floor but it's rotted enough that the whole floor need to be replaced. I have a very good understanding of floor and wall construction but Im looking for advice from better educated people on the subject. The sub floor obviously extends under the walls. Do I cut the plywood flush against the walls or do I come into the room a bit? I imagine if I come into the room a bit, I'll need to support the edges of the old and new plywood with new framing between each joist and somehow along the side where the joist run parallel to the walls. If I cut the plywood flush against the stud walls, I dont see how I'd support the edges. Any experts have advice? Id appreciate it . Thx Andrew

One thing I don't have in my room. The chrome edges that go right below the mirrors. Trying to figure out way to cut these out of good chrome tape. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I have one set on Black Beauty, wonder if I could pull them and trace them some how? This is the spot on the farings that is first to catch anything and is first spot to make contact if you lay it down. As I did first day I owned "Ugly" Didn't make it out of the town where I bought her. Hadn't been on a Venture in a while and put my foot down in a big pool of oil.You know the rest. And this bike had never been dropped!! Is there anywhere you can still get these things??

One of my friends, who owns a tire dealership, has suggested that use the truing machine to round the edges of the car tire. He is going to trim 5/32 of tread from the edge and round 1/4 of the way toward the center. This will leave a flat area in the center and give the edges a round profile. He is convinced this will remove the cornering feeling many talk about. Will get this done sometime this week. Cruise On Gregg
