My class has an e-1 error. When the key is turned to acc there is no sound from the system. I used another none good panel with the same results. Any ideas where to start or any known issues that cause this code?

i have removed the control unit and resoldered the pins on the circuit board, and the all check out okay. the E-1 code still comes up when i turn on the key to the accessory position. anyone have this happen before and where is the best place to start? Cheers, Scott
