I find myself at a crossroads AGAIN ! I currently have a Motorola Droid but it's not global. I guess when I got it, it fell into the window of non-global droids. So, I have to get another phone and the HTC Incredible seems to be the one - it doesn't have a slide out keyboard (I don't need that type) and is lighter. Anybody have one of the Incredibles and if so any problems ?

Any one out there have one? how do you like yours; I'v had mine for a while now and just love it works like a charm. I been using it to log in here and post along with surfing the web, love the web top when hooked up to my TV. live streaming Netflix is very good not one problem with it yet. The dual core processor is very fast and the larger screen is much better for my old eyes over the smaller one on the droid one or two the voice to text is awsome!!! also the bigger screen makes it easy for my fat fingers to do the onscreen keypad. Warning do not get a droid from Verizon. Their insurance and warrante is worthless. They know that the chip goes bad after 2 years but will not warrante your $499.00 phone after you have paid for years with no claim. You get nothing even if you have been a customer for 15+ years. Pass it on so they screw less people. Rod

If you have verizon and a Driod be advised they do not cover your phone with insuance. you have to have the extended warrantee and it is still a fight and you will loose. Pay every month for years (I started with Air Touch) The Droid Phone is designed to fail in 2 years. Be warned. Your insurance is no good unless you break it (hit it with a hammer if you have any problems) that is the only thing they cover. Once you try to have it fixed they screw you; again if you have any problem hit it with a hammer, they cover nothing other than that. I hope I have saved some of you some hassle I have had for the last 3 days. Back to a regular phone. Rod

I was at the New Bern Bike Rally today and met this feller. Quite the character he was, and a Machine to match. This guy has been around as we shot the crap (censored)and told me the places he has been. I took pic's with my Droid, but this YouTube says it so much better. Enjoy! Just today I have activated my 9Th. yes thats right #9 as of today; I had the first droid when they came out. had problems till they replaced it 4 times. they then upgraded me to the droid 2 for free. nice of them I know. and today they just gave me my 5 th. Droid 2 had everything from dropped calls, screen with white band wouldn't go away, cant answer till calling party hangs up then you have to look and see who called then call them back, speakers quit working, screen goes black and locks up, phone gets quieter as you talk till you cant hear your party talk, weekly calls to phone co. to try to fix problems. most having a temp fix of pull the battery and then put it back and restart. several fixes of wipe it out and reboot to factory settings. in most cases this was another temp fix if at all; but one they seem to like doing in store today at the store there were three other people there with droids all with similar complaints anyways was wondering if anyone else has had this much trouble with there phones ..... OK I feel better now.

For the last 4 evenings, Cable internet has dropped. Leaving me all alone in the twilight zone , No cyberspace either. Thank Goodness for my Droid. By tethering it to the laptop, at least I have connection. For those on the Droid network , download PDANet from the Market Place. It make it possible to get the Net for emergencies and travel. And it's Free and FAST too ! BEER30 via the Driod/Laptop
