Looking to cut down a shield and paint. Wondering if anyone has a used one to part with. Some scratches OK and cracks OK if only above top support 4" or so. Thanks I'd ask for an extra quick disconnect mount but I doubt anyone has one of those laying around! -
There are a few sellers on ebay that have are selling bag rails, and they can be had for 100.00 including shipping.. So my question is what is a good price for them? I kind of doubt if they are OEM for this price and they don't claim to be either but hey if they look good and mount ok who would know..

My Harbor Freight trailer worked fine on a 400 mile trip BUT it lost 3 of the 4 plastic end caps from the 2" square metal frame. Anyone else have this problem, and if so, how did you deal with it? The last one popped out onto the driveway while just setting there! I'm having trouble finding replacements, haven't yet contacted HF. I doubt if they can help, these end caps aren't even listed seperately in the parts list. Maybe it was the 90 MPH pass made on some slow moving traffic on state route 9 in northern Indiana?!?!?

My weekend's project is installing a set of passing lights/fog lights on my 96 Royal Star. I've got the "Yamaha" bracket, but the fog lights were bought from Tucker Rocky, so I doubt I'll have instructions. Can someone shed some light on how to wire these lights up, I've never done something like this before. Thanks!

Taters wants to buy me a net book for Christmas. she wants me to pick it out...I don't know a thing about them.. Can you guys give me any info and guidence what to look for and what accessories I may need.... when in doubt ask the pros.....also she wants to get me a mp3 player...something I can hook up to the scoot on those longer trips......all help is appreciated.....:sign67:

Anyone using Castrol Grand Prix 4 stroke motorcycle oil 10w40? I can't find anywhere that it states it's compatible with wet clutch (although I have no doubt it is). This is not the synthetic one.

Was installing new diaphragms/sliders tonight. When I pulled #2, there was so much oil inside the cover that it even dripped out when I removed the final allen head. That was the only one like that. What in the world could cause excessive oil build up in the diaphragm. There is a minimal amount of oil that had accumulated in the airbox being brought up through the crankcase vent but nothing alarming. Even if oil we to accumulate in excess in the airbox, I doubt it could find its way to the diaphragm. It was running fairly well before and since I have had four new sliders/diaphragms I figured I go ahead and get them installed. Any ideas about the oil? Thanks all! -
Does anyone have an extra knob that fits the CB radio on a lst Edition? I am missing one and would gladly pay someone for whatever it may be worth to them (PayPal). I probably could find a replacement at an electronics place, but I doubt it would match. T Thanks
