Which set of the R1/R6 brakes is better? The Gold dots or the Blue dots? Which donor bike is better R1, R6, FJR? I have seen some six piston calipers. Will these fit a 1st gen MKII? The Blue dots appear to have different size pistons, the Gold dots appear the same size. Anyone know the piston diameters? Do they make plastic pad covers for these? I didn't see them in the parts fiche. I might put a set of these on while I am in there. Probably need to be able to slow this puppy down once I get it going. The video of the dissappearing dots example has been posted twice and I can not find it. I have looked at about the last 25 pages of watering hole and in the safty and video threads and still cannot find it. Not sure the best word or phrase to search. I'm doing the PCW clutch mod. After opening the cover and exposing the clutch. I decided to take a couple of pictures (see below) I used the link below as a guide plus the instructions that came with the kit. Great write up. Here is my dilemna. As you can see by my picture which was taken prior to disassembling the clutch, the single notch on the pressure plate is aligned with the two dots on the housing. I've got 20100 miles on it The clutch has never been opened. I feel I should put it back together the way it came appart. Any thoughts??
