Rusty Wallace Racing Experience came to Texas Motor Speedway this past weekend and held a 2 day event where all of the profits were donated to the cause. I also donated my time for the event and pretty much shot photos non stop for 13 hours each day. Long days but well worth the effort. Texas Motor Speedway also stepped up to the plate for this also. It rained late Friday night and the track was wet Saturday morning. Someone made a call and the lights were turned on so we keep going until 9 o'clock that night. I don't know what the grand total was for the event but my photo event trailer had a total of $8200.00 that was taken in for the foundation. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/RW1of1-11_zps2e80565d.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/RW1of1-10_zps3b769b44.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/RW1of1-3_zpsc1a2c77b.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/RW31of1-6_zps935511d9.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/RW31of1-9_zps3dfcdf04.jpg

Pioneer Motor Sports have been Fantastic hosts at Inter. Rally
dingy posted a topic in Watering Hole
Pioneer Motor Sports have went way beyond what any business would have been expected to do for us. They opened up the repair shop so several of the members could work on replacing Brown Angel's rear shock which had an issue. Way after hours they let us into shop to use lifts & tools to get him back on road. BongoBobny donated a shock from his parts bike, which was brutally tore apart in short order by a couple of us for the organ donation. Pioneer donated a lot of stuff for the raffle also. They lets people camp there, demo rides, list goes on & on. Keep these people in mind when you need to order something. 12220 Olean Road Sardinia, NY 14134 (716) 496-6000 www.pioneermotorsport.com/ Gary -
Vogel is over and we still have some time to raise some more money for the kids at St. Jude. I will be posting some Vogel T-shirts and patches for those that would like to have them, and there will other items also. Since the classified section is out of order the only auction posted will be the sunglasses donated by Dingy. As soon as I find out where to post the others, they will go up.

As some of you know Eck donated some 1st Gen and 2nd Gen parts to me when he moved to S.C., he suggested I use them as door prizes or fund raising items for St. Jude Children's Hospital. I choose to do the later, but I still have quite a few parts left over, so here is what I have decided to do, along with another idea to help out all you folks who have all those old OEM and custom parts laying around after you finished Blinging out your ride. If you are coming to Vogel and would like to rid yourself of all those parts you will never need or use again, bring them to Vogel as a donation for St. Jude and I will have a table or two set up to display all the parts providing I dont get way too many to display, now what I am talking about is parts you can carry on your bike or in your trailer, not engines or anything way to big or heavy. If someone sees something they need or would like to have, all they need to do is make a small donation (No Minimum) to St. Jude. Now in the event that there are parts left over and I am sure there will be, you can take them back with you or if you want, I will load them up in my vehicle and take them back to my shop and hold them and put up a list of parts available and post it for everyone to see, and if they see something they want, and for a small donation plus shipping and off it goes to the donor. In return for those donating parts I still have a bunch of Crusin' for St. Jude t-shirts available and will give them to the donors. And remember this is all for the kids at St. Jude and we will be making another ride in either late Sept. or early Oct. to deliver the money to St. Jude in Memphis, Tn. So far since the very first Vogel in 2005, we have raised and donated over $12,000.00 to St. Jude. Our max donation one year was over $3200.00 and that was from an effort put forth by Squidley and Sleeperhawks Mechanic. My thanks to all those that have supported our efforts to help the Kids at St. Jude. There are many and I wish I could name everyone of you but that would not be possible, so Thanks and God :clap2:Bless each and every one of you.:clap2:

Lookee what came in the mail today. Sean Morgan of Morgan Carbtune, and I do believe he is the CEO/owner, has graciously donated another Carbtune for this years Tail of the Dragon V. Sean has been a very generous sponsor with his donations to VR. I do believe this is the 3rd or 4th one he has donated for Vogel. Many thanks to Sean Morgan for his generosity.

I dont know if I thanked Brad for my LSU hat, I was so surprised at what transpired that I forgot to thank him. So, Squidley, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, your gift and your passion for St. Jude touched me to the core, I will never forget what you did for me and the kids at St. Jude. My Friend, and I say that with great pride, you are the best of the best. I also want to thank all the VR members who donated when the hat was passed and for signing the gift. The members here are the greatest, and I am proud to be counted as a Venturerider. God Bless you, Lewis

Liz & I donated our '89VR to the Disabled American Veterans today. The DAV is going to raffle it off with the drawing being on the 4th of July. It was donated because we bought pilothawks bike, I can't ride 2 and it's too big for Liz. The Bike comes as pictured minus the backrest, luggage rack and macs. I replaced the macs with the stock pipes that were on the new to us 89. This is a chance to get a nice bike for next to nothing. Fly in and ride it home. The DAV is a non profit organization so sorry, no Paypal. Tickets are $10, and you can send a check or money order to DAV Chapter 26, PO Box 533 Oliver Springs Tn, 37840 Good Luck.

Hey All, I have been talking with Lewis and he has mentioned to me that the folks that donated for the St. Judes Tattoos are eligable for some gifts. Now the gifts vary upon how much was donated up to $34.99 is a St. Judes Lapel Pin, up to $74.99 is a T shirt, up to $149.99 is a Hat and $150.00 or more is a license holder for your car or bike. There is a problem here, this offer is only good for 1 week and we have to have an answer by Monday morning. This might be a nightmare, but we (Lewis and I) want you folks to have the choice to accept these. Now there is another option that Lewis came up with and I really like. His thoughts are that we break the donation amount down and get 165 pins or a combination of that and shirts and sell them on the site in the classifieds. We could either put them up for auction, or fix a price and sell them outright. The monies that we make off them could go right back into a St. Judes fund that we are working on. The choice is all of yours that donated, we will do what the masses want, although you could really make us work our butts off with a certain answer Let us know how you feel, I will put up a poll up top that we will use for the decision. I will make it so that those of you that donated anonymosly can also stay that way. Thank you all again for the donations that took us to almost $3300.00 for St. Judes
