Well the checks of my Trike have revealed its first problem. When I picked it up, I was told that a small dent was discovered in the front fender which was believed to be caused by the light-bar falling on the fender during a performed repair. After driving it home I discovered that the small dent is now a crease in what was my beautiful fender. Sooooooo... Anyone who has had their Venture converted with a Hannigan kit & EZSteer - Have you had problems with your light-bar hitting the front fender on hard bumps due to reduced clearance between the bar & the fender? I have a call into the previous owner... Before I attempt to fix the problem, I need to know if the reduced clearance is from the EZSteer install or some lowering adjustment performed. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. Anyone know where I can get fender damage repaired like I have? Thanks as always - here are some photos. show two dents & ridge mark across fender shows small clearance problem

This is a paint project I had planned since first purchasing my '05 Liquid Silver RSV. I have always preferred two-tone paint on a motorcycle, but couldn't pass up the deal I got on my all Silver 2005 RSV and bought the bike understanding that I could always paint to suit later. When I discovered a new paint shop just a few miles North of my home, I had to go chat with the owner about painting my bike. I discovered the proprietor was the paint shop manager for Sewell Lexus in Dallas, and after I had previewed the photos on his paint shop web site, I knew I had found the right guy to do the job. Here are a few photos of the finished product.

I just discovered that my rear pads are pretty well shot, and that my rear rotor is looking like it probably needs to be replaced sometime soon as well. The OEM replacement rotor at the stealership is about $240, plus the new bolts. I found an EBC replacement rotor on eBay for $145, new in the package and free shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EBC-Brake-Rotor-MD2078-for-Yamaha-XVZ1300TF-Royal-Star-Venture-1999-2008-/261008709417?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cc554d729&vxp=mtr Does anyone have any experience with this brand, or would I be wise to bite the bullet and stick with Yami's stock rotor? Any other suggestions would also be appreciated. Thanks.

Daddy, how was I born? A little boy goes to his father and asks 'Daddy, how was I born ?' The father answers, 'Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! YourMom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then I set up a date via e-mailwith your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, andgoogled each other. There your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used afirewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button ,nine months later a littlePop-Upappeared that said: Scroll down...You'll love this ....... http://venturerider.org/forum/image.php?u=1102&dateline=1273642320&type=thumb'You got Male!

I have discovered that my speedometer is off. Someone told me that by changing the rear tire size this will help fix this. Does anyone know if this is true or even possible?

I was riding the V-Star Saturday, on my way over to meet folks for lunch at Bobby's BBQ (Augusta M&E) and had to stop for the first gas-up of the day. Imagine my horror when I stuck the key in the cap and discovered it was loose-fitting, and worse, would not come off! Eventually, I was able to maneuver the cap off, with a part or two spilling into my hand. To my dismay, I discovered that one of the two screws holding the whole assembly together was missing and the other one was quite loose. Well, not missing, exactly, because it was likely in the bottom of the tank, in a place that I could not possibly get to. I disassembled the cap completely because it was obvious that other parts might be missing or dislodged. Thankfully, I was able to put it all back together and make it operational again. Because the screw was fairly long (well over an inch) and I was in the middle of nowhere, I determined to continue the ride, thinking it highly unlikely that a screw that size could possibly wiggle its' way beyond the tank. An hour or so later I arrived intact at the meeting place, just a couple of minutes ahead of everyone else. After lunch, when we were all just about to head our separate ways home, I told my little tale to Bryan and mentioned that he might want to check his gas cap. Sure enough, a screw was missing on his gas cap, as well! So, this is just a little heads-up: you might want to pull out a phillips head screwdriver, pull off the gas cap, turn it bottom side up, and make sure the two screws are sufficiently tightened. TERRY
