Well looking for some info guys. If we can get some info on the measurments for the valve tool I have a very talented person that may attempt to make a couple if it wouldnt end up costing more than just buying one. Here is a pic of the dimensions we need.

Susan found this for me today on ebay, and I figured I better run it by you fellers before buying it. There is precious little info like dimensions, etc. but the price is right, and it is stainless, so no issue with cheap chrome. I'd rather have the Yamaha part, but they are pretty $$$pendy... I DO know the dimensions, by the way, and it looks like it should fit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/260936394379?item=260936394379&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr#ht_4044wt_1185 Thanks for your time. Two questions, anyone know the dimensions for the fuel hoses? Nice to have bought the right stuff before I ripp it apart...5, 6mm or something really odd? the two breath hoses connected under the airbox, is there a mod that doesn't upset anything that makes things a bit easier regarding assemble? Wouldn't it be possible to connect it differently? 80% of the time of working off the airbox, playing with the carbs and reconnect everything is that airbox hose... regards

At one time there was a print of all the dimensions for the solid motor mounts noted on here. I made a copy of it, but I not only can I not find the copy I made, but I also can not find the post that had the print noted. Does anyone have a copy of the print that has the dimensions noted? Thanks, RandyA

I seem to have lost a couple of bolts that secure the trunk support to the (side of the) fender. Rather than remove the other existing bolts to check, I am wondering if anyone knows off-hand what the correct size might be. The Yamaha parts fiche just refers to them as "bolts" without dimensions. (SKU 92014-08020-00, button head bolt) Suspect it may be a M6 x 1.00, maybe 16mm, but I'm not sure. Thanks Ross

Does anyone know where I can get the inside dimensions for the RSV bags? I'd like to figure out what size carry bag I might be able to take with me when I fly up to get my '01 tomorrow. I can always just carry a few things in a paper gift bag if need be, but if I knew the inner dimensions I could take something that will fit right in. I've got a few different choices here from lunch coolers (I know these would fit) to a KLR650 tail bag (17x11x6 I think). I was told a 16.5x14 laptop case will fit in the tour pack, so I'll have my laptop bag there with room for a few more items. I don't have the height available in the tour pack though, so if the tour pack dimensions are known that would be nice to.

Out of the two MC Stand/Wheel Chocks that Harbor Freight sells, which one is the better for the 2nd Gen. RSV? I would be mounting it to a wood deck trailer. Do both of these when mounted to the floor or trailer deck support the bike for free standing? Does the lower cost one (96349-2vga) have any problems with the side rail/tubing hitting the bikes break rotor? Motorcycle Wheel Chock http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/gifs/clear.gif Chock moves up automatically, securing wheel in place. Makes it easy for one person to strap down motorcycle Mounts securely to truck, trailer, or floor Quick and easy Fits most motorcycles 13-5/16" high; Rugged 7 gauge base plate; All hardware included. I had a customer come into the shop yesterday with a Harborfreight trailer I haven't seen before: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/photos/02500-02599/02575.gif The dimensions are almost identical to the standard, red powder-coated, 12" and 8" wheel kits: Bed dimensions: 40" x 50"; Weight capacity: 1400 lbs; Gross vehicle weight: 1618 lbs; Receiver size: 1-7/8"; Tongue level height: 14"; Overall dimensions: 87-1/2"L x 52-3/4"W x 22-3/4"H But there are a few differences: It's powder-coated in black and not in the tacky red The diamond plate covers are included There are two extra stringers toward the hitch, stabilizing the platformI guess with a few minor modifications, this would make a perfect cargo trailer. Just add a roof-top carrier box, remove the leafs down to the main spring leaf and flip the axle (easy done as it is set-up for 0º Camber and 0 toe-in). The fenders should still be in an acceptable position with moderate loading. I would also recommend replacing the supplied, Chinese bearings and seals with something more suitable for highway use, even with proper lubrication and maintenance the life expectancy seems rather short. Also, don't expect too much from the quality of the powder-coat. It still looks better then the red stuff but is by no means perfect. Here is the link, unfortunately it does no seem to be a store item, but a special order catalog or Internet item only: http://www.harborfreight.com:80/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=2575 This link will give you any idea about assembly: http://www.harborfreight.com/manuals/2000-2999/2575.pdf As of today the price of the trailer is listed as $249.99 plus overweight shipping, not sure if you have to pay shipping if you order it in a physical store. I actually got a shipping quote of around $60. Hope this helps, Klaus
