Who wants to get together for a ride this Saturday? Or Sunday if that's prefered? Maybe meet for breakfast or along a route somewhere. Thinking of going out to the Irish Hills area, perhaps lunch at the sports bar & grill at US-12 & US 23. Depending on who wants to attend we can alter meet locations as well as where we go. Maybe a nice ice cream stop before the days over. Larry

around Dandridge Tennessee - I'm leaving around noon on Monday, 5/9/11 to an auction at the Bush Brothers plant in Dandridge. I'll be there Tuesday and Wednesday - depending on how much/what I buy, I may be there til the end of the week.

my new warranty replacement radio has started to cut out and come back on when I hit sharp bump (bridge expansion joints, pot holes, fallen over HDs) The audio will cut out and come back right away, and I noticed that the LCD display on the controller will also blip off and back on. I've checked all my harnesses again but the problem still seems to come and go depending on the bump I hit.. Is this common enough so to not worry about or might there be something 'jiggly' inside the radio itself that might be doing this?

We're planning on leaving our house in Easley Sc about 1030 (128 Lakeshore Dr) and heading up to hendersonville, NC via 135, 11 and 25 then pick up 64W all the way to Dillard, Ga and return via 76 and 123, We'll stop along the way for lunch and anything else. So far 5 bikes, maybe one cage (depending on which bike I ride and how twistie the road looks). Anyone want to join us or meet up along the way feel free to shoot me a PM. Should be about a 190 mile, 4plus hour run. I just need to decide :scratchchin:if I want to ride a real bike or the Shadow:innocent:

Need some opinions PLEASE My wife would like a 40" LCD flat panel tv to mount above the mantle on our fireplace . What brand would you suggest? I started researching LCD's and the information varies depending on what site I look at. Which LCD brands do you prefer and what retailer, internet included, had the best deal? Dave

I just tripped across this in my web travels......neat idea, tho somewhat pricey! Mufflers have a "butterfly" in them......can electrically switch from quiet to loud depending on your mood and/or location! Sorry first genners, they fit second gen only! http://www.peacemakersexhausts.com/images/N41310_XVZ1300TF.jpg http://shop.nationalcycle.com/perl/cycle/nresults2.html?search_model=ym-082

I have a bike that is missing on the two back coils. I had Don test out the TCI and he felt it had a problem and he wasn't able to get the part for it. I got another TCI box from a junk yard in TX and installed it and I still have the same problem. I went to check out the pick up coils and the ingnition coils, but how to do I know which is PRIMARY and which is SECONDARY. The OHM's are different depending on it they are secondary or primary. Can anyone help me? I am getting very frustrated here!!!! This is a 1987 Yamaha Venture Royale

If your heading out on vacation and say O I almost forgot to upgrade Garmin to 09 map forget it. Depending when you bought your unit you may be eligible for free upgrade to 09 map or you may just be buying it. Point is, it takes anywhere from 2 to 4+ hours to download depending on your computer. This is also assuming you have high speed internet. Longest download I ever did. I also want to say that if you purchase a Garmin on e-bay or any auction site Garmin will NOT honor warranty. There are some good prices on line and they state full warranty but not true. Garmin states this on warranty paper in box.

I have a 3/4 and a full face helmet that I wear (one at a time of course) depending on the temperature, etc. But recently I have been considering a modular. Any of you ride with one and how do you like it? Thanks

Route posted in the Meet and Eat section. Point of Interest open for suggestion. Hope to see y'all there. Estimate about 5-6 hour ride depending on stops etc. As a side note, the Luckenbach Independence day Celebration is on Saturday. JB

Well it's been 4 1/2 weeks since my surgery to stop the bleeding and remove the excess blood from my brain. I am still doing great. No symptoms of any kind. I was expecting some dizziness but it never came to be. Of course I have been doing exactly what the doctor instructed which is absolutely NOTHING. (Of course I did take the Nomad down the street a couple of times just to get it warmed up). I go back to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully he will let me start driving a little. I am getting VERY bored and hate depending on others for transportation. But I will follow whatever instructions he has. He was gracious enough to save my life, so I should honor him by behaving:innocent:. Thanks again to everyone for thier thoughts and prayers. Hope to be riding and see you soon.
