When ever i try to print a statement from my bank my computer always crashes. If I open the statements online, it opens a pdf file. I thought maybe it was IE causing the problem but If I save the document to a file, close down all the programs, open the PDF with READER and try to print....the same crash happens. What it is ..... I get a message that says "Spooler subsystem app has encountered a problem and needs to close" or something like that. I end up with my computer not seeing the printer (HP colour laserjet 2600) It has happened many times in the past and I have to delete spool printer and driver files, then into the registry and delete a couple of files. I know how to make it work again...but not how to stop it from crashing when I want to print my bank statements!! I don't understand because I can print other PDF files EDIT: Running Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2 IE9 64 bit Operating System Quad core 2.2Ghz 4 Gig Ram

I don't know if it is because of the shopping season or what but I am getting slammed with spammers trying to join the forum. I typically block about 4 or 5 a week but right now, I'm intercepting about 20 per day. They try to create bogus accounts, mostly using Gmail and a few Yahoo. I have a system in place that looks at several variables and automatically places suspect requests to join into a moderation hold. I then have to check them and determine if they are legit or spammers. It's not a bit deal but there are just a LOT lately. I hope that none slip through the cracks but if so, I will delete them as soon as I see them posting any trash. Please know that even if one slips through, they have no access to your email addresses or other personal information unless you have actually posted it. The members list and etc. are restricted to supporting members.

I just tried to update the text in the fork brace ad in the 1stGen parts forum. Can't do it. It will not allow me to delete the curreent text and reword it. When I did a reword, and then went to delete a couple of the pics, the added text ended up be a garbled mess. A combination of the old text and the new.. So when the time comes I'll kill the ad and start over. I think it might have had something to do with the ad being shuffled around a couple of months back between the main board and the classifieds. OK actually what it did was kill my lengthy new text and replace it with the old text... after the pic delete.

Someone who can delete a tread please delete my last post of "PLEASE HELP" so I dont get anyone else upset. It was just a joke and some people I guess thought it was sinceless. Oh well.

OK I know Bubber wanted the pictures Debby took but I cant remeber if anyone else that was with us wanted a CD of them. Somehow I messed up and have some pictures from our Leakey TX meet on there so you will have to delete when you get the CD. EVERYONE PM me your addresses and name and Yes Bubber I lost your card..I should have given it to Debby.Anyway Ive got 6 CDS copied.

DO NOT OEN any email from kw936@hotmail.com.... I did not send it!! I had and or still have a MAL-WARE that is sending out emails..if you get a email from me DELETE IT!!! Sorry if this has got any one!! Kreg

Ok, for all of you who have over 100,000 miles on your 2nd Gen machines. Does the odometer show 100,001 miles or does it roll over (like the old mechanical kind) and show 001 miles again? Moderator. Delete this if you want to. I would if I could. The odo had 6 digits showing, so will obviously be good until 999,999 miles (or kilometers)

Right this instant, I cannot put into words the fury I feel. My other thread is seeking info. on a VA health benefit question. I was doing some additional searching when I came upon this! It infuriates me to even think about it. I will paste the 1st sentence of an article from the CNN.com website and you judge for your self! WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki confirmed Tuesday that the Obama administration is considering a controversial plan to make veterans pay for treatment of service-related injuries with private insurance. It is one thing to have disdain for our military. It is something else to be SO callous and demeaning as to even allow a milisecond of thought to occur where this "plan" would even remotely be considered! It does not matter in the least, that this "plan" probably would get shot down before it left the hanger. What matters is that it was considered at ALL!! How dare they! There is NO reasonable explanation acceptable for such an overt slap in the face of our brave servicemen and women. I am in tears as I write this. HOW can this come from any commander in chief of this country??? HOW? Don, do whatever you have to do. delete it, delete me. Whatever! We have veterans here and some of those have family (veterans) serving. They deserve to know!

Not angry or anything...but I posted, or anyway I thought I did, a note in Cindy's thread about her neighbor and child. I made a reference of my own about getting a relative put in jail for abuse. Did my post not take, or did one of the moderators delete it because of what I said? Again, not angry, just curious....long, long day at work, so maybe I thought I posted it and didn't. Curt

Unless I'm blind (been told that a couple times) I don't see how to delete the classified ad for my Baxley Trailer. A very nice gentleman gave me some of this funny green paper and I let him take away the trailer. It was a good trailer but did not fit my needs any more. New owner can't ride long distance but wants to go into northern rockies so the trailer will help him do that. If someone could pull the ad for me or tell me how to myself I'd appreciate it. Folks, I am by no means a prude...... And I enjoy a good joke as much as anyone, and I know I have told more than my fair share of "blue" jokes in my yound life. But, please remember that it is our intent to try and maintain this as a PG rated site. That being said, I have done a soft delete on one of the jokes and will have the other moderators review it. If they feel it is appropriate, it will be reactivated. And I will stand corrected and will personaly apologize to the member that posted it. Thanks you.
