Decals are ordered, paid for and on the way. I should have them in 10 days and will get them right out to you. Please get your orders placed to help me defray the initial outlay of cash. See this thread for ordering information. I had to order quite a few to keep the price down to where it was so any of you who can order and pay now will be appreciated. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/venturerider-merchandise/39088-venturerider-domed-decals.html

I had a place reproduce the original decal on the gas tank of the Auranthetic mini bike I have. I think they did a great job.......... I posted a picture of the gas tank so you can see the original decal and then a picture of the reproduced decal. Now its off to the sandblaster to remove the paint from the gas tank..

Just a fun little contest for all of you. I picked up a new toy this weekend. Really got it for Eileen as she recently saw one and fell in love with it. I'm going to post a picture or two a day until somebody correctly guesses what it is. The first one to correctly identify the new toy wins a small VentureRider patch and a VentureRider domed decal. So...without further ado, here is the first clue.

I am retired Navy and need to have a new decal put on my Venture. Previously it was on the windshield, but I had a new one made, which my wife doesn't like because its to low. So I would like to mount the decal some where else on the bike as I will probably be changing out the windshield occassionally. But no on the sheet metal preferably. Does anyone know of something that will work on the Venture? Any military out there who have dealt with this or something similar? Thanks

I got to talking with the guy that used to do all my lettering for my race cars. He says that it would be easy for him to do up a vinyl decal that we can put on the scoots pretty easy. Now if only 1 is made it is $10. However the more I can get made the cheaper each one becomes. Now if anyone wants this I am willing to mail them out to everyone once they are made so the only cost will be the decal itself. But I may be out of line even having one made for my bike. I just thought if I could get a dozen or so made that would get him to keep the templates on hand it would be neat. Shaun PS- if this is in the wrong forum feel free to move it and beat me with a wet noodle. Shaun

Anyone have old version spare Decal that I can purchase?

I have a whole set of fenders, wheels, side covers and tank plus alot of misc. parts off my 96 Royal Star. I have another set I had custom painted and don't need these now. They are blue and white. The tank is new and has a decal I designed on it. Before I put this stuff on EBay I thought I would let the club know. I will sell it all for $375 plus freight. I will be selling individual parts on EBay so this is a deal. Reno 715-459-2570 pixx@charter.net

Hey guys, Need to pick your brains for a minute. Does anybody know how to remove a decal from a painted metal surface without screwing up the paint? I put a new battery in my old Duc today and had the tank propped up. Fuel leaked out:thumbdown:and messed up the warning decal on the back of the tank. No harm done really PROVIDED that I can get the rest of the $%$##! thing and the glue OFF. Any ideas or suggestions will be Greatly appreciated!! Thanks all!!.......Hm...maybe a guy could take the "Yamaha" decal off the back of the trunk...put an HD logo there and REALLY confuse the Harley dudes:innocent-emoticon:

I asked the question on the Star site if there were any problems being a member of another orginization and a star member. The answers ranged from no problem, to no problem as long as we don't wear the other org. patch or show thier colors, to it doesn't matter Venture Riders and Venturers are just forum sites they're not Orginizations with real members. My wife and I are not renewing our membership with star because of this. We discussed it and decided we didn't want somebody else telling what we can wear, how to wear it, and so on.We have an venturers decal on our trunk, and in the next couple weeks will order the Venture Rider decal to go there also. We hate to be like this as we have made a few friends at Star but if it has to be then....Have talked to a couple of folks here and have enjoyed the site, and the knowledge of some of the members. I guess what I'm getting at is, we have found a new home. Hope ya'll don't mind. We'll try not to get to rowdy!!!!!:confused24:

What is the best way to remove a decal from a windshield?
-
If I asked this before on here, I guess I'm losing more than my hearing. I know I wanted to ask before. I did at least search my prior posts and found no entry for this so, here we go: I have a black Pace-Legacy lo-boy style enclosed motorcycle trailer. It's only about 3 years old but sitting outside down here in the sun & heat, the finish has developed that slightly cloudy, faded sort of look. That loss of a clean, deep black finish. It's not at all severe, but it is noticable. I've tried any number of different things to try to bring the depth of color back and failed. I'm almost positive that it's baked enamel and I'm frankly at a loss as to what to use. So, if any of you have any experience with this issue, I sure would like to hear your solution. I coming up blank. I've hesitated on removing the Harley-Davidson decal on the back door until I can come with a satisfactory fix for the finish, because I know there's going to be a difference in shade when the decal comes off and I want to be able to minimize it. Anyway, any help will be welcome. If I can't do anything with the finish (or maybe even if I can), I might just sell the darn thing. I haven't used it but a couple of times and the original reason I got it went away when my son got rid of his bike. That'll be a topic for another thread if I go that way with it.

Ok everyone here are the pictures! Been raining for the last few days so I put her in the air and did all the decal work. Some of the gold leif decal work is boardered reflective material so the pics wont be the best till we get her in the sun but I couldnt keep you waiting any longer. Enjoy!! The color is Chevrolet Victory Red. Much better than either of the HD Firefighter edition colors. I embraced that it is a Yamaha and I cant wait to see who asks how they can buy one!! LOL

Buddy I got the new deflectors today and they look great. Ill post pics on the Firefighter edition RSV if I ever ge the decal guy to finish!!! LOL Just a question but can you make these in a Diamond plate Aluminum?

Just picked up my cowlings from the body shop. They did a great job. Take a look a the bottom of the cowling, the new part is black over rock guard. The rest of the pics are my new ride and I'm going out now and put some miles on her. Yamaha is getting cheap there's no Run/Stop decal for the kill switch.
