Is there dates set yet for 2015 MD? I want to try to make it so I have to put in vacation time early.

OK folks. I need to rebuild the event countdown page for 2013. This is mainly for our regular events, not the smaller meet and eats. Take a look at the VR Rallies page and let me know the dates for your regular events and any that need to be added. I'm not real strict on what is included but the page is a bit tricky to build and if possible, don't want to be adding little dinner rides and etc. all the time.

I have not seen anything on Dons MD this year. Does anybody know the days and dates? Also where is every body staying this year. I missed last year so i,m planing early this year.

OK folks, it is time for me to start rebuilding our Rally Countdown page with the dates for our 2012 events. Please take a look at the events listed at: http://www.venturerider.org/rally/ Let me know if you hosted an event and will do it again in 2012 and what the dates are if you have set them. At this time, I have dates for the International Rally, Marcarl's meet and I've almost set the date for my Maintenance Day. I need your input on all the others and also any new ones.

OK folks, I've started re-programming the countdown to our events page. I've added "Spring, "Maintenance Day" and the "International Rally" so far. If you have dates to other events, see some that won't be held this year, need to add other major ones, please post the info here so I can get it updated. Thanks for your help. anyone interested in getting together at meramec state park in mo.. i was thinking of staying a couple of days at the motel in the meramec state park. any one interested in joining us. the dates will be the 17th and 18th of sept. or what ever else people may think would be better. the weather should be perfect than and it is in the middle of the best riding in mo. the motel is in the woods, and is very nice. the rooms are $60.00 a night. if the motel is booked because of labor day i will make the dates the 24th and 25th of sept. or the 27th and 28th 0f august 2010. what ever works best. just a spur of the moment idea i had since i canceled the meet i was going to have there earlier in the year. finally getting some time off work to do some stuff and i'm taking of advantage of it. let me know.

My trip to byran Tx is being pushed back a few months. so, for those of you I chatted with about coming through, and stopping for coffee, we'll have to hold that thought. I was riding out to sit at a court trial, for a Fellow rider Killed by a drunk driver. So, Our friend Jim, doesn't get any justice, and his family has to go on waiting, to hang the little bastard Subject: Info on Petcock killer trial from (Club name removed): I spoke with Kelly today and over this past weekend. She has been in contact with the victim's assistance coordinator at the DA's office. I also got off the phone with the victim's assistance coordinator in the DA's office this morning and she confirmed that the pre-trial / trial is NOT going to be on the dates listed on the web site. The trial may not even occur this year. Yeah, that's right, Jim's been dead for over a year and his murderer still gets to run around loose possibly for another year.The young lady in the DA's office told me the dates on the web site Brad sent are meant to be tentative dates and the web site is updated by a completely different office. She did say that as the date is firmed up, the wording "Preferential Jury Trial" will replace "Jury Trial", as that means the case has been moved to the top of the list and the date has been confirmed.So, basically it looks like everything is on hold until we get further info.-Doc

i am going to put on a meet at the hub in arkansas. i just talked to randall at the hub and he said these dates were open with no other big events scheduled. july 29th, 30th, and 31st. randall has the meet dates on record. now if i can get vacation for that week which i should know by tomorrow, these dates will be written in stone, and folks that want to attend can start making reservations. i will have that information posted. hope this works out cuz i'm really looking forward to it. we had such a good time at the international at the hub last year, that this will probably be my annual arkansas event instead of my st. charles meet and eat, as long as i can still do it. bill :clap2:

well as hard as i tried i just can't sit on the side lines and not have a meet this year. i would like to have a meet at the hub again. no date planned as yet, and it is just going to be a get together of old friends. we did it last year in preparation for the international and had a great time. it will be nothing fancy. no prizes, no frills , just a good old sit around and chew the fat and random ride get together. let me know if your interested. i will have to contact randall at the hub to see what dates are available. i'm figuring a thursday, friday, and saturday. i don't care if we have 10 people turn out, or 100, it will be a blast. i will officially post a date as soon as i get with the hub. i'm open for suggestions on dates. bill :clap2: ps. i talked to lowell yesterday and he said let him know when. like to see you texans up there again.

Ok guys, it is getting to be time to get the bikes out and I am willing to host a maintenance day at my place if there is enough interest. Let me know if any of you are interested and I will look at the dates that others are using so we don't step on any toes.

OK folks I set a date it can be changed but need a bit of input. I get a bit impatient waiting so I figured I'd go ahead and start. Now if it's ok we'll get started on planing this event. So please check the rally section (regional) and voice your opinion. I'll give it about a week and then I'll put the date on the calendar. Sorry I get a bit bossy must be from being the oldest. Plus I've been asked about when it will be and I know some folks need to get their dates in for vacation except for those folks that have vacation everyday. Margaret

going to pick the dates for the hub meet next year. remember this is not the international rally. july and august are out, too hot! need some ideas on this, the majority may rule. we had a great time at the international this year ,so i have decided to do it again. it will be a no frills meet, a just come down let your hair down and relaxed get together. i need to get a date set so i can contact randll at the hub, so we can secure the motel reservations. they have other groups lined up. randall will take care of our group. i know it is early but i want everyone to have plenty o notice so they can plan ahead and make reservations. so give me some kick back. thanks, bill

Hey Freebird. Went down to my airline company to change the dates on my flight tickets for the Maintenance Day. Turned out that changing the dates was not a big issue with paying a small fee but the thing was that I could not get a flight back home from the US after nine days like in my earlier booking. Have to stay for twelve days. And what does that mean Don ? More riding time Don - More riding time ! Don you are a genius Now I only have to pick the right time to tell the Warden

At the start of a thread, there is a date but on each of the contributor's messages to the thread there is no date, hence if I am scrolling a thread, I have no idea if the latest entry is yesterday or a month ago. Same with any entry (other than latest) if I want to quote someone and respond. CAn dates be added to each contributor to a thread to let us know how recent the entries are? Thanks, Marv.

I would like to start planning vacation time for 2008. I found the dates for the International and VIP, but they are not on the rallies page. What about Maintenance Day? You brave enough to do it again Don? Eureka Springs? Vogel replacement? Ecks Natchez ride? Any others?? I know for me the sooner I know dates, the more likely I am to attend. If we could get them in the Rallies forum, on the calendar and on the Rallies link that would be perfect.

Hi Folks As many of you know we are in the process creating a 2008 calendar. We would like to include all the monthly Meet & Eats like Pyro has in NH, Eureka Springs, Venture In the Pines, Vogel, & The big yearly Venture Rider rally. You get the idea. So if there are any firm dates let us know. Maybe some polls like ReinyRooster did for the Canada rally would help get these dates set. Any feedback on this would be helpful.
