My wife got a coupon on cyber Monday for 20% off the Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure so she signed me up. So on Febuary 9 i'll be at Talladega Superspeedway to do 20 laps, driving 10 with a instructor and 10 by my self in cars that do do up to 185 MPH. Is that going to be fun or what, i canted wait.

We got the laptops computers today that are for the rally prizes. Cindy was looking at them and now she has to have one. Told her wait to see if we win one first..... haha If not guess we will be ordering one for ourselves shortly...Or should I say for Cindy... Dale

We are setting out sometime this afternoon when dale gets off work.Time ?? who knows ! Going to stop in Springfield, Il for the nite....then on to ohio wed morning. First stop 2nd daughters to see grandkids, and spend the nite. Second stop moms, spend the nite there thursday. Dale is heading on over to Dons area thursday morning to see some old friends since we used to live there.(notice how hes skipping out on the MIL visit??) Haylie and I will catch up with him there friday. My oldest daughter flew out here saturday and will be riding with me back to ohio( she lives there) while dale rides the bike. Will be stopping into dons sometime friday afternoon/evening. Dale has a step sister who lives right there in S. Amherst she is keeping Haylie all day saturday for us while we attend MD. Heading west Sunday and spend the nite at dales bros in IN then its on home mon morning...... Wish us luck that the pain in the a** van doesnt give me any more probs on the trip.... beginning of trip isnt looking good for dale on the bike....storms around here this afternoon predicted..... see u all in ohio !!!

Was putting the red light bar on my bike and the wife thought this would be a good idea. The more I looked at it the more I liked it. shouldn't have to worry about being seen now! Dale

just wanted to remind you all that are attending my meet next month, that ameristar casino is about a half mile from the host motel and harrahs is about 2 miles. so if you get restless and like to gamble they will accomodate you. last time cinderella and dale were here, dale won $600.00. hear that b2dad? we also have historic main street close to the motels. and as an added extra you will get to meet allanh ( wrongway). just don't follow him down any dead end streets. :rotf:

She found a ring, and wanted help finding its owner. So WIS' Hannah Horne started digging. She loves a good mystery, and jewelry, so this story was perfect for her. After months of searching on her own, Dottie needed help finding the rightful owner of a ring. And it's not just any ring. With only a few clues, Hannah tackled the task at hand. The 1983 Orange Bowl ring, once a treasure, was discarded as trash, until Dottie Martin of Elgin found it. "Some boxes I'd bought from flea markets." Dottie said she "don't even know when or where." It was "jewelry, old junk jewelry," she explained. Looking closer, Dottie knew it was not junk with the orange stone, the letters 'LSU' and the engraved name inside. The ring belonged to former LSU defensive back Jeffery Dale. Dale played in the 1983 Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. But those were the only few clues. "All I could find from the internet was a bio of where he had been, but I could not find him now." Dale went on to play in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers in 1985. When the national spotlight dimmed, the trail went cold. That's when she called, asking for help. Hannah tried the internet, searching Google and phone books. She called and wrote to alumni and friends at LSU for help. Traces of Jeffery Dale were found in seven states, from east to west coasts. After two weeks of searching, a popular social networking site sent Hannah right to him. Classmates.com links together high school friends. A quick search of his name, and jackpot, Hannah found photos, information and friends. It was the break, or click, she needed to get in touch with him. Jeffery Dale traveled from his Memphis, Tennessee, home to Columbia to meet Dottie Martin and be reunited with his football heirloom. Jeffery remembers losing the ring in a Columbia restaurant bathroom. It happened in 2001, when he lived in Columbia and worked at Baptist Hospital. "It hurt my heart when I lost it," he said. "A couple of times, I thought about calling LSU and having it remade." There's no way of knowing how the ring got to the flea market, but a grandmother's heart got it back to the elusive Jeffery Dale. "I know how important great achievements in life are to pass along to your children," she said. And that ring comes full circle. "Getting this is like getting it all over again. It's like having it for the first time. I'll remember this just as well as the first time I got it, that's because of Miss Dottie and I appreciate that. I really do." Jeffery Dale is now a director at St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Wearing the ring again, he said it makes him feel like he could get back on the football field. I was going to change the oil last night and noticed that my CB antenna was broke in half at the plastic part. Couldn't tell till you looked at it. Cant believe that it didn't fall off on the highway or sometime during my travels. Anyway, does anyone have a stock one laying around that they would like to sell? Dale

This was rather devastating.I have kind of worked my way thru it for now but Dale is pretty messed up over it. To tell the whole story, about a week before the incident happened to haylie, she had went over to the neighbors ( the new ones to neighborhood who live on the other side of the scum) to see if their little boy could play he is 4 1/2...his mother told haylie no she couldnt play with him for a while becuase he said she had touched his private part.....she came home told me i was i was blown away.I questioned her and she told me she accidentally touched him with her foot while they were swimming in our pool. I had intended to go talk to the mom and then everything happened and it got put on the back burner . The boys mother had stopped over after she found out what happened to haylie and we talked about it and it was my understanding that all was cool.....an innocent mishap while two young kids are playing. She was pretty flipped out about what happened to haylie, hugged me etc. Yesterday our detective calls me and wants to talk to me. Apparently the little boy is acting out and making accusations....he said he was in our house in H's bedroom and she took her clothes off in front of him and touched his private thru his pants. And then that Dale and I came in and took their picture with a camera. I was floored.....i said we didnt take his picture and the detectives and i went thru my camera and all the pics on my pc to make sure. I also said anytime he was in the house I shooed em back outside cause i make them play outside. of course then came more questions.....do you have porn on your computer? specifically child porn....NO.......would you let our experts go thru your computer if need be......YES. Dale was sleeping so they wanted to talk to him when he got up. He went down to the station and got the same questions more or less. They appologized for having to do this after all weve been thru but explained anytime a child makes a statement they have to check it out. Apparently they even sent the boy down for a forensic interview like Haylie had to do. They told us theye were a lot of discrepincies as to what the parents said he said and what he actually said at the interview. We can certainly understand the need and urgency to check this out but man o man can you imagine what we are feeling now. After we both finished they pretty much told us that most likely this is the last we will hear from them on it, I dont think they believe that any of it happened and that the MOM is a little off and over paranoid and may be putting ideas in the boys head. We dont understand why this woman would want to hurt us or accuse us of stuff...its like something happened to Haylie so now she is sure something has happened to her boy. Everytime things start to settle down a little someone throws another log on the fire. I questioned H again about all this and in fact the detective told me not to press her about it after i told him i asked her again.he doesnt want her worrying about anything else. so apparently they think this is a dead subject....lets hope so....Ive had enough. so this upset just caused us to say the h*** with it lets stay home....and the weather looks like rain most of the time for eureka springs and i dont need to be riding that far back and forth in the rain after the hospital time so here we sit again. My daughter is here from ohio now..so maybe dale and i will at least get a night out alone sometime this weekend. Id like to just run away and forget it all, but i know that doesnt work.

I want to install power outlet for temporary accessories, any lying around out there? Some one know where to get one that will take a little rain. I may need some guidance on where to hook it up. Thanks, Dale

Dose any one have a mirror base from a broken right hand mirror for a 1Gen 83 or one that would fit. I want to tap it and see if I could put after market mirrors on them the OEM ones are so high. Dale

I am officially retired.........from my present job that is........at least I think so..... I was sposed to be done 3 weeks ago...........but they keep calling me back......and sucker that I am , I keep helping them out... Dale has finally gotten to the other side of the ford plant where they get all the OT they want......so I got to quit my job !!! he had to go on overnights first so I left the overnights I was doing and was going in at 5:30 am when he got home to cover someone who had surgery........well it turned into 3 weeks instead of 1........it was getting too much for Dale to sleep a lil and then get the young un off to school and then go back to bed...( funny tho that that's what I did when I worked overnights and he had no problems with ME doing it )..so he told me to tell em sunday was my last day !!! Lucked out the lady who was off can come back this week.....but when i said to the manager that I'm finally done she said " well don't say that yet " arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh ! I don't think they really want to lose me but ...............dang I just haven't had time for here..........:hurts:and most of you know about my lovely job and how much I LOVED it....... retired just in time for spring and summer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought i would share the project Dale worked on the last cpl months in his spare time. This is Haylie Christmas present. Its a house for barbie dolls. An older gentleman friend , who has a large heated garage work shop helped him with it. I think both guys thoroughly enjoyed making it.......they made a few variations on the original plans, it turned out great ! the third pic is what the finished house is sposed to look like. I plan to decorate the rooms with carpet, vinyl, wall papers, paint, etc. We also ran a thin curtain rod across the front and I made a closable curtain for it. So barbie can have some privacy !! This house is like 5 ft long and high, approx 16" deep, HUGE! Hopefully it will be a family heirloom type toy that can be around for a few generations ! I found a bunch of new barbie furniture on ebay, so every room will be filled, even a toilet for the bathroom !! now we need to sneak it home today and try to hide it til morning.

I put the commanders on the bike, Is this my bike what a difference. I got some foam grips off Ebay one is missing the Venture logo end cap dose any one have one from and old pair they changed out, let me know she would look better with both chrome end caps. I put engine Gard's on the bike to she is slowly coming back to life. Thanks, Dale
