Tomorrow (Friday) morning, Barb and I are heading on another trip. First off, we'll be heading down to south of Nashville to watch our grandson quarterback his grade school football team. (ScarryLarry---it's the weekend again, and I suppose you're busy.) We'll visit there, and then Sunday afternoon head back up to near Cairo, IL and meet our friends at their house (they ride a '12 Wing). Monday morning the 4 of us will head west. We're heading to Albuquerque by Oct. 6 so we can see the start of the Balloon Fiesta, but seeing that we have some 'extra' time, we plan on heading for Colorado Springs and doing some riding in southwest Colorado. I'd like to go up on Pike's Peak, if the weather is cooperating---I've head that they have the road completely paved now. It's been at least 15 years since we've been in this area, so maybe we'll visit Cripple Creek on the way west, and then ride over Wolf Creek Pass. After we get to Albuquerque, we're thinking of riding south and doing some site seeing there. I'd kind of like to see Roswell. Our friends have to be home by the 11th, so our route back home is still unplanned. The weather looks good now, so we should have a great trip. Frank D.

Its getting close I will be cleaning the shop this week end and getting the campground ready. And I was down at the campground and that creek monster came out of the creek and went in the corn and started his laps threw the corn. Sure am looking forward to meeting some new freinds and seeing some old ones. Have a safe and enjoable ride here. Orlin and Sharon

The Chinook Salmon have a short life span every 4 years( they are born and come up the same creek to die) they come up the creeks and spawn Before they come up the creeks they are silver and when they come up the creek they are a old banana to black colour and die All my salmon I caught were females and I released all of them to the creeks to spawn

In early April, on a bike???? I've made a few memories from following up on some old country and truck driving tunes I used to hear when I was a kid. (and still love to hear, Satelite Radio rocks) I plan on going to Luckenbach, TX at the end of March, heading back through NM, and maybe visiting an old friend that moved to Colorado Springs a few years ago. I see Wolf Creek Pass is in the neighborhood, so I thought I'd see if that top load of chickens were still laying next to that tunnel. But I don't want to bash my MRSV into the side of the feed store in downtown Pagosa Springs. So, how are the road around there in early April? Later, Scooter Bob

There is a Hopnel tank bib for the RSV on ebay. Its "sold" by big bike parts. I need this item but it wouldnt arrive in time before we leave for Potato Creek. Actually there are several available through various sites once I googled them. Is anyone willing to buy the thing for me, take it to Potato Creek and I would pick it up there and hand over the cash. Its around 55 bucks. Thanks

I knew is was in trouble when I went out this morning. I slid the front end of the 89 crossing the creek. Leaving the house going out is the easiest way because the bike is squared up going out. Crossing coming back is a slight down hill right turn then square up when your in the creek if your lucky. Last year I dropped the 89 with MamaMo on it coming back from Freebirds maint day event. This was the first ride of the year on the 89 so I chanced it. I had a nice ride but crossing back to the house I lost control of the front end before I could get the bike squared up. I had to put the feet down in the water to balance the bike and there I was. Stopped in the middle of the creek with water over both boots. The creek is so slick I'm sliding my feet on the glassy algie covered rock surface just setting still. Let the clutch out to ease across the creek dragging my feet and the scoot won't move. The rear tires is spinning just setting still. At a moment like this you ask your self what would a more experienced rider like Muffinman,Skid, or Yammer Dan do? Probably the same thing dad and my brother is doing (watching laughing there a## off). After about 5 minutes of inching the scoot forward trying to keep it balanced I made it out without dropping it. Tune in next week when Froggy's new camp gets a 60 inch wide side door. I'm tired of this #@*^.

Now I remember why I sold the Vmax. I used to ride a bonneville to high school. I'm thinking get that cabin up on the other side of the creek. Then a garage and one of these. http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2006models/2006-Triumph-RocketIII-Classic.htm
