coming to the pros for this answer........need for legal documents.. valu on the bike......04 midnight.......53000 miles.......has additional chrome and lights..no damage, never dropped....but that crack or split in front left lower cowl fairing or whatever its called...lol kbb tells me retail 9080 trade in 6350 but doesnt ask miles or condition

I was looking at a RSTD that has a pair of adjustable wind deflectors that bolt to the upper horizontal portion of the front crash bars. They blend nice with the cowl that covers the air filters. Might anyone know what company makes these? Hard to describe these, they are about the same height as the cowl and are vertical. The adjustment allows air towards or away from the drivers legs. Im lookin for parts and watching e-bay close. But ill prolly be buying parts and painting them to match the color I want. I was thinking that most parts for a second gen are interchangable. Is this true? and is it true from 1999 thru 2009? So if I find a front cowl (looking for both pieces) would any year from 99 thru 09 fit my 2000? These parts are $900 to $1100 from the dealer. If i can find them used and paint em I could save some money.

I need some help. When I got my previously owned Venture, the passing lights were already installed and were setup to be on all time. Here is the problem: they quit working and I do not know how to fix them. Electrical is not my strong point! • Do they have a separate fuse (if so I could not find one) • What are they wire to? • Do I have to take the front cowl apart? Any help is appreciated,[/size]

from Santa and it appears that the headlight visor (which is listed as a RSTD part in the Yamaha catalog ) doesn't fit with the stock headlight cowl. Anyone have any experience with a replacement flat cowl w/ the visor or should I just put the driving light/signal visors on with the stock slanted cowl and send the headlight visor back?
