Well I need to get new tires for the venture before riding season really gets into full swing, anyhow as a former auto tech with lots of tools, I'm considering borrowing a bike jack and attempting to at least remove the wheels myself and taking them to the dealer to get changed and balanced or another option is to take the wheels to a friend of mine and have him change them, it would be cheaper but he doesn't have a balancer he just puts the weights back in the same location, which I'm not to keen on. My main concern is I'm not real confident on removing the wheels and doing this, I'm afraid of doing something wrong, and with only having two wheels under you it's quite intimidating. No problems with the cars, just not real familiar with the bike issue. I've done other maint. but not something of this magnatude. I was going to just take the bike to my friends place but he has had some problems in the past and I hate to admit it, but I'm not to confident in his mechanical abilities compared to myself. I guess what I'm trying to say is he doesn't pay to much attention to what he is doing. So any advise would be helpful. Other's that have done this job, how did it go? Thanks...

Well Haylie and I got subpeonaed to testify today....... From what the sheriffs deputy told me when he came the state also subpeonaed the perps parents today and they were not happy...... still no dna results...... just waitin it all out........we will see if things stay on schedule for June 1st. His lawyer is in for a surprise because we are not going to back down and we are not afraid to testify..she is a very strong little girl and we are confident she can handle this. I am also confident that whether it ends up at trial or gets settled before that happens......we will have reason to celebrate at MD his loooong confinement...

Shipped my seat off to Rick Butler this morning. I have parked my butt on 2 Venture seats that he has done his Mod to and I am very confident in his craftsmanship.

Hi all, I have come to you today for the sole purpose of finding pity and commiseration. From the age of 15, up until about ten years ago I have always had a bike between my knees. My favorite being an 83 royale I purchased new and had until 99. After a divorce it wasnt 10 years before I was finally able to afford the 89 that my wife found me for christmas last year Now after only 4532 miles I have suffered the unimaginable! After a tumble down the stairs I have found the absolute worst bone any rider can break. The coxix . At three weeks out, I'm getting the sweats just watching the rider icon above! Not to worry though. I figure by the time I am confident in my ability to lift my leg over the seat, I will have figured out a way to mount a discrete donut in my seat run off the bikes compressor. If there hapens to be anyone that has suffered a fractured @ss and found a way to make riding more comfortable, PLEASE fill me in !! Pain Hmmm, I can't help but wonder if I somehow saw this coming when I chose my screen name......

If you have any problems, please clear your cookies and try that first. If the side menus won't turn on or off and etc...or other issues. It is possible that you have duplicate settings for the site due to the different IP address. So far, things look great on my end. Hope it continues. I'm fairly confident at this point that we are going to be OK now.
