    I read an article that sounds more like an April Fools joke than real, it wants everyone to go to http://www.dcwg.org and check to see if there computers have been hijacked, saw the article on AP, CNN, Foxnews etc.... Seems fishy to me any thoughts? http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/04/20/hundreds-thousands-may-lose-internet-in-july/

    The past couple days I have noticed after making a post the back ground of this site will disappear ... then if I go to new post / or something else , it will come back.. this happens on more then one of my computers. seems to have been going on for the last few days or so,just a FYI for ya.     linux os

    Kirby posted a topic in Watering Hole

    Ok, I know this has nothing to do with a motorcycle but here goes anyway. Do any of you use Linux or one of the variations of Linux Os on your computers? I'm putting together a system and would like to know what to expect. Is it hard to set up and maintain? I'm just tired of paying "taxes" to Microsoft all the time. I'm looking for something different. As far as my knowledge of computers, I'm not a computer nerd, but I'm also not computer illiterate. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    I have the Freebird supplied password on my start up, how do I change it to something I can remember to use on remote computers?
