BEER24/7 and I just made it home after a 2800+/- , week long trip. First to MD. Thanks to Don and the wife for hosting another Great event. Happy to see old and meet new friends. It was an honor to provide along with Charlie and I, a table dance to all the members there at Quakers Steak and Lube. After MD, we were off to Sturbridge, Massof2sh*ts to see the Grand-Daughters. Spent 3 days getting spoiled to say the least. Then venturing off into the hills of NY, Conn, and PA. We were supposed to go to West Point, but my friend was still out of town, instruction students elsewhere. Oh well, his loss . Then onwards to Washington BS(no long DC) to combat all the ridiculous road construction. Then homeward bound. Weather was fabulous throughout the trip. Only hit a small shower near Port Jarvis.................until we made it home. Last 17 miles, it was dropping buckets. So mother nature was kind enough to wash the stink off of myself. Now watching out the window to see the small tornado that is projected to pass by. BEER30

It seems Eck and Dragonrider could not resist a little bit of hand combat... It was considered a tie!

WOW I work at home and while on the computer I heard multiple aircraft flying overhead. Since I am a sucker for aircraft I had to go look. There are 3 aircraft flying simulated air combat over my house. Two are painted in WWII paint schemes and one appears to be a safety spotter. Seems they swith off roles so two are "fighting". Once a "kill" is achieved the loser seems to be come the spotter and the other two go at it. The one that looks like the P40 is kicking butt. HOW COOL I THAT. Been a good 45 minutes and they are still going at it. Why do I think that my work day is done? Think I will go for a ride when they are done. Back outside to do some more watching.

First, I think everyone should read Dragonriders post in the inspirational section, titled "sack Lunches". Second, We had 10 members of an Army unit earn 10 Silver Stars in Afgan combat (a military record). The story is here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,466404,00.html Knowing we have men the likes of these out there getting the job done.....I'm so proud of these young men..
