Im considering going with a motor club, one that will also cover the bike. Right now im leaning on going with the GWRRA because their roadside assistance also covers cars as well. What im looking for is opinions from members here who use any of the different motor clubs that are out there, your experiences with them, pros and cons, etc. Im realizing that as I get older im having a much harder time doing some of the basic stuff like changing a flat tire, especially since I ant kneel anymore. So, tell me your thoughts on the clubs.....

Found this on The web Clubs Venture clubs abound with big meetings every year in the US and Europe with most countries having national clubs. The web brought about many online clubs. VentureRider.org http://www.venturerider.org is the largest and most active of these clubs with members worldwide and regular meetings (VentureIns) and more informal get-togethers throughout North America and Europe. It also has a great technical resource for all model years as well as a classifieds area for those looking to buy and/or sell. Other online clubs have strong followings. Venturers, http://www.venturers.org has regular meetings (Rallies) and informal get-togethers Meets The 2007 VentureRider International Rally was held July 9th - 13th in Fort Collins Colorado. The 2008 VentureRider International Rally was held July 7th - 10th in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. http://www.venturerider.org/irally/ The 2009 VentureRider International Rally was held August 3rd - 6th at The Hub in Marble Falls, Arkansas. The Pork in the Pines pig roast is a VentureRider.org rally held annually over Labor Day weekend near La Porte, MN http://www.porkinthepines.com

Rick, Thanks for the mod on my rsv seat. I received it in the mail today, and am very happy with it! Only took it out for a small ride so I couldn't check out the comfort, but having my feet closer to the groung made all the difference in my feelings about the bike. I have never been dissapointed by any of our clubs venors, and you certainly are as advertised. My many thanks again. I am also posting this on the web so any newbees will know of your product. kenw

I want to be able to carry my golf clubs on my 87 but don't want to pull a trailer. I have a hard case for my clubs and thought of putting a luggage rack on my trunk but am wondering 2 things--1-will this be too much weight for the top of the trunk and 2- will it act as a spoiler and possibly lift the back end as I'm going down the road? I would like to be able to carry 2 sets(wifes) as well but don't think that will be able to happen. Thanks for any advice-help
