before I can put aside all the crap and head out for the Pork in the Pines. Promise to have enough fun for those who have found themselves in the position where they are unable to make it this year. Just heard the weekend weather forecast. Couldn't ask for better weather. We must be living right. No rain, temps in the 60-70's F during the day and 50-60 at night for those who feel they need to sleep. And Bubber's comments above couldn't say it any better. And for those who have come tho this thread for the first time... if you want to spend a weekend having the most fun one can have with their cloths on (well at least some keep their cloths on) check it out at www.porkinthepines.com See ya'all in two days.

I know its hot weather and no need for heated cloths, but I like to ride in cold weather too. My question is, does Yamaha make a heaver duty alternator? The reason is my bike will not keep the battery charged with my wife and I wearing our Gerbing's heated coats and gloves. Seems like a touring bike would provide ample power for heated cloths. Don't get me wrong I love my RSV and would not trade it for any other on the market. Any help in this matter would be a great help, I know ya'll are a great bunch of people and I'm honored to be a part of this forum. Mike
