I purchsed the seat that Ed Rassmussen, pc009, had listed on the classifieds. I want to send out a public THANK YOU to Ed. The seat is fantastic. Doreen and i went for a short ride tonight and we both love it. The cloth seating area is very comfortable. It is even a slight bit larger and gived us each a little more room. I was afraid of driving the bike to work with the new seat since the only place to park it on a hard surface is under a very large pine tree. I was afraid of the needles and the sap falling on the cloth seat. It was difficlt enough to get the vinyl clean. But....while we were at a Menard's in Sioux Falls earlier today, I saw a cover designed for a power washer. I pulled it out of the box and it looked about the right size to fit the seat. Got it home and tried it on the bike and it fits!! It will cover from the front of the seat all the way over the trunk and rack. This was about half the price ($13.50) compared to one for a "motorcycle seat rain cover". Again, Thanks Ed, we will be enjoying the seat. Stay Safe, Dave

I have a plastic car topper to put on my HF trailer. I did not notice when I acquired it that it looks to have been crashed on one corner. There are some deep scrapes and the corner was pushed in and it rubbed thru at the crease mark. I cant complain, the price was right, which is why I did not look at it closely. I think the thing is vac formed out of ABS but I'm not certain about that. It is an off white in color and has a heavily textured surface. It is a Kartote brand. I was going to do the repair by laying up some glass cloth and epoxy on the inside, but after thinking about that, I realized that this cover is very flexible/flimsy and the glass/epoxy would not be, It will probably just crack off. Is there something flexible that I can use with the glass cloth to repair the crack. Eventually I will paint it, but that will not be for a while, at least not this year, unless I just buzz bomb it.

My father-in-law has designed and built robotic equipment and electrical components for 33+ years. He told me to never use emery cloth to clean electrical contacts. Instead, he said to use a pencil eraser. He said that all electrical contacts are coated to prevent corrosion and that emery cloth will remove the coating. The pencil eraser will clean any surface dirt without harming the coating. He told me that he has fixed million-dollar machinery with a simple pencil eraser. Who knew!?!? I thought this might prove usefull to everyone here.
