I received my invite in my email and have been giving it serious thought about going. I just have to convince the wifie poo that she also wants to go. She's not thinking she would like the long ride. it would be a 6-8 hour ride for us. I know she would like it once we got there. After all she wasn't sure she wanted to go to the "Leaf Looker's Run" last fall either. But she ended up really enjoying herself. Is there anybody in my area, (Thorp, WI) that might be going so we might have someone to ride with? Or at least meet along they way? I'm thinking we would enjoy the 53 north to Duluth and then shoot west route better than heading into the twin cities. Thanks, Bill

Does anyone know if they are doing any construction on 694 around the twin cities? I plan on leaving from Helena, MT on the 20th of June and passing thru on the 21st??? Thanks, Rabbit

If so, can you let them know that we have had enough rain already here in the Twin Cities . Time for some sunshine and warm weather.

I have an '86 VR and it needs some TLC. I thought I had a great shop located, but he seems to busy to work on my old bike again. So are there any shops that people trust that work on the VR? I live near Peoria, IL but can go towards Quad Cities, Chicago, INdy, St. Louis. etc. But of course, finding one within short distance of Peoria would be best. Any help appreciated.

It's coming to Cleveland last weekend in January. The last two years have frankly been disappointing. Fewer big bikes, fewer bikes overall. Couple of manufacturers absent, overall small show. Anyway, was wondering what this year's show has been like in other cities. For people that have gone this year, what did you think? How did it compare with previous years? Thanks in advance.

Are they ALL NUTS??? Warden sprang it on me couple days ago that we were going to visit Lil'Yammer and Brats. Trip down was crowded with all the idiots on the road I think. You need Tank out there any more. West by God roads just not that crowded. Cities down here not safe for country boy to drive in!!! Little disturbance at the prison he works at this morning. I wondered if I could suit up and sneak in... SAND AND SWAMP!!

I was wondering if there is any way that in the right corner of the posts that we could put the state and/or country along with the city. It would be nice to know where each person posting is from and I don't recognize a lot of the cities and I sure don't know each of the states and country's flags. I know I can look at the user's profile, and sometimes I do, but it would be nice if it were right there on the post. Anybody agree?

We are planning to visit SC in a few weeks and want to visit Charleston and Savannah. Instead of staying in hotels we have found a reasonably priced house on Fripp Island which appears to be centrally located between the two cities. Does anyone know anything about Fripp Island? From the web it appears that the island is quite restrictive. It's about 80 miles from Charleston and 65 from Savannah. How long will it take to travel to those cities? I've got to pay for the reservation in the next couple of days if we decide to stay there. Thanks, Dennis

my score: 166,980 level: 6 traveler IQ: 91 This can drive you absolutely crazy. Be very careful it is very addictive. Subject: Fun Geography challenge, on-line Give this a try... be as quick as you can. It's a game to see if you know approximately where different cities are located in the world. Options at bottom allow to specialize on specific regions. Let's see if you are as smart as a 5th grader. Ought to be great for schools. http://www.travelpod.com/traveler-iq

This is interesting. When you get the web site up, Click on the state. Then the next window is a listing of cities in that state. Click on your city And there are speed trap locations listed http://www.speedtrap.org/speedtraps/stetlist.asp
